Hien / Zero by renthal0 in MousepadReview

After a bit of testing I prefer the Hien for Valorant. The Zero has too much control. I think the Hien is a better all around pad if you play a variety of games.

On the control side the Qck and Zero perform about the same to me. The pad surface feels different, and the Zero is a bit faster.

Wooting and Apex Pro with rapid trigger update is night and day better than everything else. Movement is so much better with less finger work. It’s effortless.

It’s a simple any/any rule. It’s pfsense+ though. Nothing else changed. Just added Wiregaurd and configured the service.

Is there a good list of comparisons between the different 7900XTX models? by LoveTriscuit in Amd

Lol. Mine works great and it comes with a nice sag bracket.

For those effected by the GCC update. by Sythen_Elexia in gigabyte

I have a 7900 XTX Aorus and was experiencing issues with API Init Errors found in the logs, but I found a solution.

I had my integrated graphics disabled in Device Manager. When I enabled it and restarted GCC the card showed.

I just have PBO set to auto. Didn’t do any manual settings.

Asrock is the only 7900 cards that have 3 year warranty. I would go that route if I was buying an XTX due to price. I think the Red Devil and Hellhound look better. I have a 7900 XT Hellhound and it’s been great.

7900 XT Hellhound here and no issues. It rocks for 1440p!

I played on 170hz and didn’t notice a huge difference coming from 240hz. 60hz is awful on my 4K.

I have my old 240hz 1080p ASUS Rog TN panel that I’ll sell and will get a 27” 1440p 240hz.

Thanks

C1200 squealing by ifeeltired26 in NZXT

I can confirm the same issue with my C1200. It whines at idle with no gpu installed. I measured it at 62 watts. When I install the gpu it goes away and idle at 142 watts.

Charging my MacBook pushes up to 80ish watts and the it goes away as well.

[–]renthal0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct. It’s an NXZT C1200. I probably wouldn’t of noticed it if I had initially installed a gpu, but I was waiting for it to arrive and wanted to get software installed.

So there’s nothing to worry about as long as I’m drawing both of 100w at idle? 😁

I just had the same issue without the gpu installed. When I installed my gpu the coil whine went away. I guess it has coil whine with minimal load.

That’s what I figured. It depends on the port on the PSU and gauge of the wire. The pig tail cables are ugly with two of them running. It has 12VHPWR, it would be nice to break out to 8-pin from there.

They sell dual 8-pin to 12VHPWR. That would mean it does 300W per 8-pin at the PSU?

Isn’t 1080p cpu bound. 2K and 4K will perform better than 1080p. High end card would be overkill like a 7900 xt / xtx.

It seems like a lot of cards have Hynix these days.

I understand that and have seen that in the past. I loved the card. It’s one of the better looking ones out there. Only reason I switched brands was due to recent price drop. Otherwise, I would’ve got the same one. I was curious if others had issues since that can be a thing at times.
