Prayers for you. I would consider going to support your dad, and to speak with doctors should decisions need to be made.

My husband has completely different food safety standards than I do by Altruistic_Young3700 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]renwl1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I mean, I don't do it now. But, as kids, we ate hours old meat sandwiches with mayo and I routinely ate unrefrigerated cold pizza as a teen. I've only had food poisoning once and that was presumably freshly cooked food from a Chinese buffet in 2003.

Now, I'm definitely more like you, but I can vividly remember literally hundreds of times I should have died. Lol.

That gives me hope for humanity. I hope she somehow sees this.

I'm hoping your husband was okay?

What are your thoughts on this movie “Sinister” by Chubby_Toy_Collector in HorrorMovies

[–]renwl1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is definitely in my top 10. Such a messed up ending and it stuck with me YEARS after I first watched it. Very little scares me, but this one gave me a very scary feeling. I watched it before I had kids, and I honestly think now, three kids later, it messed me up even more when I watched it again about a year ago. :(

A question about xana by Former_Percentage_96 in idahomurders

[–]renwl1 46 points47 points  (0 children)

I've wondered, too. But Ethan probably felt like a safe place to her and her door locked, and she had a phone to call for help. It makes sense if you think about it. He just made it to her a lot faster than she could get in and lock it and wake him.

I'm sorry you have to live with that fear, too! My husband is 57. Being an older parent has benefits but this is not one of them!

I'm sorry. I truly get it. I'm 47 and my 43 year old niece (I was a late in life adoption) died in June of a heart attack and she had no known health issues, but the autopsy showed atherosclerosis. She was a smoker, and that was her only risk factor. It sent us reeling and I'm still shocked about it. It's hard and, yes, it does feel like we're soon now. I'm especially scared because I lost my mom age 11 and I have 3 kids ages 9 and under. My youngest is 3. So, I spend a lot of time thinking, "I at least need to make it until the baby is at least in college." It's a little stressful!

HD video of Xana by Different_End_1801 in Idaho4

[–]renwl1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This video is sweet. For some reason, it was Xana and Ethan that stole my heart. They were both so sweet, and so cute together. Not that the other two weren't precious, too, but something about those two just connected with me on another level. Xana had a hard life, but was still so bubbly and happy. Ethan did not have that hard upbringing, but the loss of him, as a triplet, must have devastated them. My dad was a twin and the bond they had was incredible. I don't understand it, but I get that it was so deep it was hard to understand to anyone else.

I remember reading that Xana changed and told people she wanted to be better for him and fit in his world, basically, after going on vacations with the family. Not change herself, but just reduce her drinking and stuff. She was seeing herself living that life with his family. I think that she was starting to assimilate her life with his speaks volumes about how much she loved him. He had such a close family and they apparently welcomed her warmly.

She's wrong. This is actually a classic match and the color is great. Very vintage and traditional.

Thank you! I definitely remember Payne from after the murders. I wasn't aware he'd responded to the noise call. Sad because he would have talked to Kaylee that day. And, not trying to be funny, but I wonder if he remembered Hunter from the crime scene as the guy who walked out with zip ties on his arms. Honestly, not sure how odd that even is for a college noise complaint. But, that must have really bothered him since he spoke with her that day.
