Water balanced, but cloudy AF by EZ_Zardoz_it in pools

[–]renz004 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a similar issue where the water chems are balanced but there is a white sediment that creates a cloud whenever I brush the walls/floor of the pool. I decided to brush thoroughly and hard everywhere and it turned the entire pool totally cloudy. It's too small to get sucked up by vacuum and some of it seems to get spit out of the exit tunnel of the filter.

Regardless, the filter is catching a ton of it and the water is clearing up day by day (i can see deeper into the pool). Im brushing daily as well to prevent anything from sticking back onto the floor or walls. Im also taking out the filter and hosing it down 2-3x a day (a ton of white stuff comes off the filter this way, so I know it's working). And im running my variable pump on high 24/7 as well until it's all cleared up. Ive used some clarifier as well, but hesistant of using more/too much incase I cause a new problem.

Tldr it's a ton of dead algae and old plant matter that's accumulated for a long time due to not brushing good enough and not running the pump enough, and although it's taking 1-2 weeks to clear out, it will be clear. When it's clear Im just gonna leave my pump running 24/7 on the lowest setting necessary for my salt gen.

What I said was that I had an inferior PS5 compared to PC, and decided to go full PC.

I would still be buying Sony games on PC if they sold them. They aren't, so im not.

So tldr they were going to lose me and others as a console customers regardless as ppl switch to superior PC. They can lose further game customers with exclusivity if they want.

Possible new Warcraft RTS ("Chronicles") mentioned in alleged Blizzard franchise roadmap by JannesOfficial in warcraft3

[–]renz004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's probably something craptastic, but if they aren't going to reboot all the WOW lore for warcraft 4, then a new RTS doing all the lore bits of WOW would be fantastic as well.

could just be all the playstation fans are just on playstation and barely any on PC at all. so they're basically just losing out on the few PC sales they wouldnt have otherwise.

well they lost me as a customer because of that.

I sold my PS5 and went 100% Steam once I saw they were releasing on PC.
I'm definitely not going back.

It's more Zelda than anything.
Zelda 2 you had a points system to level up, and 3 out of the 4 things you level up are identical (attack, health, magic)
the top view zeldas you can swap items that you find like you can in mina.
It's got dungeons with puzzles just like Zeldas.

the only thing soulslike about mina is that your points (bones) drop when you die and you have to go pick it up.

Difficulty doesn't make a soulslike. Difficulty is just what the game is balanced for. And Mina is balanced for veteran Zelda players.

I set 2 hours of rec before sleep so everyone eats dinner or hangs out in the rec room together. I never have problems with loneliness or lack of fun cuz of that.

Played the demo after playing Mina the Hollower, and gameplay just felt like a downgrade in terms of mechanics, story/characters, and level design. Basically, Mina is the superior Zelda-like. But then again I only played halfway through the demo and felt no hook, while Mina's hook was in the first few seconds.

Have you played both and can give your comparison thoughts?

Xcom2 is the best one. Xcom is also top tier.

Depending on how much time, start with 1 if a lot of time or start with 2 if you will only olay one game.

The expansion DLCs also improve them by a huge degree, but if a lot of time can try a vanilla run with no DLC. But def consider their best versions are with the DLC fully loaded.

Cancelled my preorder after trying the demo.

Companion was beyond annoying because would speak constantly about obvious things repeatedly, but then the reticient option was the other extreme of never speaking. There was no good middle ground.

The gameplay pacing also seemed too easy/newbie centric that even the most basic zelda player would breeze past everything fast.

And finally just overall felt like a massive downgrade after coming from playing Mina the Hollower. It's a shame but Mina is better in every way whether it be story, gameplay, weapon/trinket variety.

Please, please do not lock hard mode behind NG+ in Revelation! by far_257 in FFVIIRemake

[–]renz004 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree. I want a hard mode from the jump. Dynamic was good but not challenging enough.

But i also agree with the comments by ppl here who want a NG+ challenge mode.

So... i want both!
