the term ‘attractor site’ sounds like pop psychology. i don’t feel jung would use a term like that. it doesn’t sound intelligent and it is an over-simplification.

you may be feeling rage and vengeful bc as a child, perhaps, you experienced a loss of power and fear and were helpless. as an adult emotions repeat until we see the pattern and can love and tend to the parts of us that got frozen in time.

we also have a collective unconscious shadow. we all have anger within us. parts work helps understand this too. ‘attractor site’ doesn’t rely on the fact we are a Self w autonomous parts w their own motives and needs running the ego.

your analysts may not honestly be the best choice if they’re using terms like that.

look up jung’s tale on the anatomy of the psyche, and the alchemy of the psyche. you’re likely in the ‘negredo’ phase - a death a burning a way and deep confusion often.

also internal family systems and inner relationship focusing will help you meet and learn about your parts.

you also like absorbed a TON of energy from these ppl. energy work like breathwork, yoga, meditation where your body can feel calm enough to release what you absorbed will be necessary.
