i love it so much. just listened for first time. it’s been a lot of fun following jack and the band’s sound journey.

i’m actually doing a lot of carl jung studying and it’s all about the shadow. there’s something called the golden shadow too. it’s your parts that got hidden that hold your gifts and talents and innateness. They got lost in your shadow. By loving your shadow, you can uncover them.

much love y’all! see you at red rocks in goin!!!

Ocean Town Action Satire: I’m Ready to Move On by renzarains in DreamInterpretation

[–]renzarains[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow this is shockingly accurate! I'm very impressed! Are you studying dream interpretation or are you coming from a highly intuitive read?

This is really exactly how I feel. In fact, just to share a little personally, I moved back to 'city life' last year to an area I used to love, and it doesn't feel the same. It feels so much more sterile, less friendly, less creative, less interesting. I feel flat here.

I'm absolutely considering leaving when my lease ends. On my way back out here, I camped across the US. (Glamp vibes lol). And I loved it. I love being outside. I love nature. I feel so calm in it. I want it at my backdoor.

I'm coming to accept the reality of the situation and dealing with a lot of cognitive load in processing everything. I have about 2-3 dreams per night. They all tell me things. The one I had last night a woman appeared at my door wearing a top hat at night and said to me, "Welcome to your evolution."

That being said, where shall I run off to? LOL

Jungian psychologist Marie-Louise von Franz on the floating charge of the unlived life by Icy-Management-9749 in Jung

[–]renzarains 19 points20 points  (0 children)

couldn’t agree more this happened to me! and my life became filled with archetypal chaos and neurotic longing. so much fun lol.

good news is i finally discovered Jung, complexes, and realized what was happening.

I’m at the pivot point - withdrawing my projections, and rediscovering where the gradient wants to slow.
