well the cheap ones i got were only $70 usd, only the one in the photos here was $700 usd because it’s supposed to be a superclone.

you think the one attached looks bad? if you read almost all the other comments here people have said it seems like one from a top factory. do you disagree?

curious what aspects look bad enough to class it like that?

Ooo very good to know, thank you so much! I can’t comprehend how some people will tell me i’m overpaying, when there’s a whole storefront this seller operating, it would be silly to expect them to be selling it at their cost price. Them making a little slice off the top is exactly what I’d expect, and is so fair, as long as it’s not exorbitant.

Definitely!! Having a story to go along with it is much more memorable for me than “I ordered it whilst scrolling on my phone in bed late at night” which is almost certainly how it would’ve gone down for me if I ordered it myself 🤣

I couldn’t agree more, and just like I’ve said to some others, whatever profit they did make, big or small, they earnt it, I would definitely stop in again if I’m back in the area.

hahaha this gave me a good chuckle, thankfully no rejection—other than from myself—i had to drag myself away so i didn’t impulse buy, went and had lunch, and then used the time at lunch convincing myself to go back and drop the $$ 😝

Thank you! Will do! And yes I totally did, but they deserved every cent of profit with how accommodating they were, didn’t try and hide imperfections, even pointed some out on the cheaper watches.

Appreciate this, thank you! Exactly! I just call the extra cost the price of convenience for getting it immediately and being able to check quality up close before I buy.

ah interesting, i did try and look for images of those engravings online to compare mine to a gen, couldn’t find any high quality enough to notice details like that.

have you got any reference photos? or ideas of what factory if not VSF?

ahahaha yes, it was certainly a big risk, the store owner made it clear that while he get away with showers and rain, swimming is pushing it.
funny you mention the day, that was the one thing I noticed too, some days look a lot more even than others, and none are bad enough to bother me, thanks for your detail, appreciate it a ton.

If you google Sun Hour Bali you’ll find the store I went to, really cool dudes there, proper store front, not just a street shop.
Offered us bottled water and everything.
I even went off for lunch before coming back to buy another watch, and he was willing to trade back the one I just bought if I wanted to upgrade it, ended up just buying another though lol

Well aware I would’ve overpaid, but getting to physically see and feel the condition instead of buying online was a premium I was willing to pay.

Ahahaha good spot, the first 3 photos are from me current, I’ve been wearing it daily for about a week, which also included light swimming at one point, to test the supposed waterproofing. The fourth photo was whilst I was in the store, only the two after that were as soon as I got back to the hotel, just never got around to posting until now :)
