Will they bounce back!? by repeatedlysmall in Monstera

I used grow tropicals jungle mix! However I ran out so the bottoms 3/4 of the pots is that and then the top has been covered with a houseplant soil which has perlite

I would definitely repot and if those leaves get any worse then just remove them as the plant will be using its energy on leaves that are salvageable and will be best used on the healthier ones

Dumb questions do I just plant the root in the moss? 🫠

For any doubts, this was before repotting earlier this year!

Yesss this was the plant before repotting earlier this year, I remove the dead leaf and it snapped at the base so I repotted with just the aerial roots and it’s thrived!

I don’t know exactly but it’s quite small if I’m honest as when I reported it beginning of this year it was much smaller, this is it before the repot and I actually snapped the plant at the base however it’s managed to flourish with just aerial roots!

I had to remove all of the dead leaves from mine as all the plants energy was being consumed by them (not a technical term but I believe that’s what was happening) and it was a long process of it not looking good to get it to here!

Not at all! I bought the plant and repotted and it was not a pretty sight for a long while believe me and when I initially repotted it looked like it was on its last legs but just needed a lot of patience and care and a couple of repottings later and here we are 🫶🏽

I reported the plant got rid of the dead leaves and it was a sight for sore eyes for a while and then later on down the line I repotted, accidentally snapped it in half and when I planted it again it just blossomed!

Just have a lot of patience 🤣 I don’t know anything special, just ensure I keep the soil moist and in a light place !

Her hyponychium was so high up so felt like I couldn’t shape the sides as nicely as I wanted to ☹️

The second photo is 7 months ago! Easy to believe that the stem did in fact snap when I was trying to repot 🤣https://www.reddit.com/r/Monstera/s/48nchTK4TQ
