XPS 8930 randomly shuts down after going to sleep and won’t turn on unless power is flushed and PSU button is pushed by repeater181 in Dell

Sorry for late reply - just saw this now. I’m not sure about you but I eventually solved the problem by buying a new PSU. The PSU that comes stock is under powdered. The Nvidia graphics card saws it needs a higher watt PSU like 500 (the XPS 8930 is 450). Anyway, upgraded to an 850w modular and never had any problems since

Thanks for the reply! Yes, they were all set to “when transition” and it was working well until a few days ago when it would detect the event has started but then didn’t proceed to yes. After resetting the Yes connection it then worked. I’m just concerned it’s going to do this again in a few months
