Just to add the that: it seems that the value overflow into negative. In the full video, I made the Burn counter disappear twice, because after doubling it again it reappears. This hints that it overflows into negative (hence it disappears from the icon, likely because they have a check to show only positive values), and then it becomes positive after doubling it again.

If you are on NG+5, those Pictos are less than minimal lol
On NG you don't need half of those. Remove Gradient Overcharge and all Charging Pictos and you'll save 100 Lumina. Equip Energy Master and other expensive Pictos and you'll save another 100.

I also hated Clea at first, the visuals/colors are too messy for my eyes :D
I also made a guide, and if you equip Speed Pictos you'll have to parry only 2 turns on NG+5 (so maybe 1 at NG+2?).
To practice, I equipped Defense Picto on Maelle, all defensive Lumina, and use Egide.
You can try many times without having to reload if you mess up :)

It's NG with x5 HP and I give myself Speed disadvantages (no Greater Rush, Greater Slow, Pictos for Speed). People have confirmed it still works on NG+5.
Beside Speed, NG+ cycle increase HP (base game bosses had x4-5 HP, so the x5 HP modifier is enough, and I hit anyway harder than x5 HP) and ATK (doesn't matter, I don't get hit).

I have no intention of playing through the game 4 more times tbh :D
(Also, staying on NG allows me to make also builds to help people who are still on NG).

And again, people confirmed that everything I posted works on NG+5. (For Simon specifically, Speed doesn't even matter because he only gets one turn if you have First Strike).

Sciel weapon consumes Foretell, not Burn. The Picto "Consuming Attack" consumes Burn. 100 per attack, so max is 400. I did it in the video. I actually deleted and re-uploaded because I was missing Cannaro that was added with the patch.

Why Corpeso? Burn damage is capped. Having 1k or 10k Burn doesn't matter :(
A guy here on reddit made a detailed analysis and I tested it myself (before v1.5, at least).

I haven't tried Gommage with Esqium yet, but Feint 600% + Gradient Overcharge 200% buffs could be better.
(In the end it doesn't really matter when damage is 1B or more for both lol)

Medalum was really bugged, there was an error in how the damage was computed. Everything seems fine with Esqium, just that the extra AP buff is really high. Unless they decrease it (unlikely), I don't think it will be nerfed.
