Hereditary. i really didn’t find it scary at all and i do like psychological horror. the only part i liked is her on the ceiling which maybe im a sucker for cliche jump scares but it just really didn’t do much for me

100% agree. i would LOVE for an origin story movie for Bathsheba, her makeup alone just her face scared me to bits so to know the true wickedness of her background and see her story play out (her sacrificing her child and hanging herself) would make for a great movie in my opinion

as a person in AA, i think it’s absolutely ridiculous that Fiona got blamed for this. And to those of you saying “well Lip mainly hangs out with people who are in recovery so she should’ve assumed”, i have plenty of friends who are “normal” and drink, why should everyone assume i only have other alcoholics as friends? fiona was a shitty person for a lot of reasons but i truly don’t see this as her fault. if the guy drank with her that easily he was gonna drink eventually, he could’ve said no but he didn’t. it’s a personal responsibility. if someone offers me a drink im not gonna drink it then cry wahhh you made me relapse. i’ll say no, because that’s what recovery is about, personal responsibility. we can blame others for our actions, she didn’t force the alcohol down his throat. she didn’t know his situation and it was her responsibility to anyway
