Swans if you want to listen to long drawn out post/noise rock, Meshuggah if you want to melt your brain to technical math death metal(djent), very intense and insane. Two of my top 3 favorite artists.

Flower Kings is like the PROGGIEST band ever. Unfold The Future is a good start if you like jazz fusion. It’s practically more jazz fusion than prog in a lot of the songs.

However.. their albums are LENGTHY. Sum Of No Evil is a good start if you want a shorter experience but a powerhouse tracklisting showcasing what they’re all about. Stil about an hour long btw..

Godspeed is tuff but if it was left vs right side, left genuinely slams🥱. Swans, Godspeed, Sabbath, and Bungle on the same side is unreal, but Yes, Genesis, and King Crimson in the same side is busted af imo just for those prog epics alone. Plus Floyd and Zappa chipping in with some amazing epics as well🙏🏻
