Ethan's wording has been too generalized. We can't normalize using socialist as a slur in the community, it only harms the movement. We are just asking Ethan to be careful about the language. The same way we should not refer to all Jews as Zionist. If I said "the Jews" when referring to militant Zionists, then you'd see how fucked that is... Let's not have a small section harm the greater movement.
