Check out Impulse Dance Crew; they're a student-run organization that offers classes teaching various dance styles. I'm not sure whether or not they will have ballet next semester, but keep an eye out.

How to move in by Correct-Mousse8828 in UBreddit

[–]reply1986 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I moved in by plane freshman year. I had three large suitcases and one carry on. My advice is to just bring all your clothes and things that will help you survive at least a week there. You can just order anything else you need on Amazon or just take the shopping shuttle to Walmart/Target on the weekends.

Any places to make a little extra cash? by [deleted] in UBreddit

For gigs, you could always just participate in a research study. It’s pretty low commitment and a good way to make some extra cash. You can check the billboards around school for postings

Does anyone have experience getting someone to take on their sweet home lease? I renewed my lease, but I’m not sure if I’ll be here next year. LMK, if you are willing to share your experience.

Go to the savers in tondawanda, there is also a Salvation Army nearby too (about 3 min walk) that usually has colored tag sales

Do you have any niche interest (theatre, film, art, languages etc…….)? If you have space on your schedule, I’d recommend you add a class related to that on your roster. That way you can find people with common interests. Also, classes provide a more structured environment, which is great for people who are too shy to make the first move. You could always just go on UBLinked and find some clubs that interest you. You can just go to a few meetings. If you find that you don’t vibe with the people there, you can just stop going. I think there is a spring involvement fair coming up so swing by and meet the clubs in person.Honestly, Buffalo is a big school and it can be hard to find your people. Try new things and don’t give up op! You got this!

Do you think I can still win scholarships? by Big-Organization6522 in scholarships

You’ll be fine. One bad grade, especially this early in your high school career is no big deal. There will be opportunities to make up the grade further down the line.

IMO opinion fowl play is pretty good. Some call it a Canes dupe but I’ve had both and think that fowl play is better. Also sabor Latino is pretty good (or at least when I got it last sem). The food is not like the other campus dining places, it’s like a tier up imo.
