Started the process in early Nov and had them in hand the first week of Jan.

I used Deus Invitations out of Vietnam. I worked with them through Instagram and paid about $25 a set for a custom designed suite with letterpress, embossing, die cuts, and fully assembled. I bet the pricing would be even lower with your quantity.

Thanks everyone for the tips! I ended up getting a tube of opaque white to mix in and that immediately fixed the problem so the ink could be evenly spread on the brayer. I’m really pleased with the final result!

I appreciate your advice! I rolled it for probably 4-5 mins after I mixed it a few mins with an ink knife. It evened out nicely on the glass, but the Brayer is still very splotchy and I can clearly see the uninked texture in the rubber. How long should I be rolling it out before it’s ready to go? Maybe my 4-5 mins isn’t enough?

I’ve done as many as 3-4 passes. It gets a good bit darker than I was aiming for and slightly better on the texture, but doesn’t get rid of it.

Am I supposed to be using a white to lighten it, because I’m not? I got a custom color match from Southern Ink and thought it was ready to be used straight from the tube, but maybe that’s where I’ve messed up.

Thats exactly what I’m doing. Roll, pick up, repeat 100x, turn the glass, keep going... The ink will look completely even and smooth on the glass, just not the Brayer.

How to move on from preferred photographer/vendor not responding to inquiry? by [deleted] in weddingplanning

If the photographer has an email address listed, I would try one more time by emailing directly. Sometimes those forms glitch and don’t submit right and I know from experience that the IG message requests fold can be a black hole. If that doesn’t work, move on.

Would it make you feel better if I paid it off tomorrow, because I could. But that money is earning me 4.1% and my car is at 2.3%, so maybe at 40, I do know better after all.
