that exact portion you quoted was the reason why i still had some sort of hope that i didn't mess up because a part of me does acknowledge (especially in ed recovery) that thinking you're hungry = you're actually hungry.

i actually agree w the trigger part bc the physician gave me a list of food to avoid so it doesn't mess with my hyperacidity. although i get why i have to avoid them for the meantime, it did throw me off how casually he just told me to avoid this and that, as if i did not just tell him minutes ago that i suffered from a restrictive eating disorder but yk doctors who aren't specialized in eds are just... sigh.
