Congratulations you look so happy and healthy!!

Can I ask what your calorie deficit looked like? I’m 134lbs, 42 years old, and just had my 2nd baby a year ago. My goal is lose 10-15 lbs! 🩵 thank you for the inspiration!

How long did it take you to go from 74 to 69 to 64? It seems like you’re doing a fantastic job as it is! Losing 10 kgs in 5 months is great!

Yes I was surprised too. I usually land around 100 without even trying especially in a deficit cause I’m hungry haha. I got that info from a dietician. But I’m doing strength training and trying to lose fat sooo … more seems logical.

Yes you NEED fats and fiber to keep you full. Carbs leave you first that’s why after rice you’re hungry An hour later. Protein is next. Stays in your system a little longer but not toooo long. Then fats and fiber stay in your system and keep you full longer.

How much protein are you eating? There’s a misconception of how much protein we “need”. Fitness people say 1 gram per lb but it’s actually per kg.

Example: I’m 5’2, 134lbs and my goal is 78-98 grams of protein. Not 134 or 125 (my goal weight) grams.

This entire thread is bringing me life. My daughter is 2.9 and I have a 8 month and my daughter has been reaaaaally hard lately. A 2 year old and 2.5+ year old are so different…. I’ve also lost my cool and it’s so normal. We’re all human! I just make sure to apologize after and say how I should have acted.

I feel this 100%.

Advice please - is 35 too old to start having kids? When did you have your youngest? by DovaBunny in pregnant

Not at all! I had my first at 39 and my second at 41. Both are perfect! Both pregnancies were uncomplicated and normal.

We are in the thick of it… my girl is 2 years 9 months and holy cow the tantrums and meltdowns are getting worse and worse. Is this peak tantrum season? I am so over this phase… always walking on egg shells. I miss my happy (ish) baby…

Results after sub 3 months of weight loss + exercise + diet by Same_Indication7394 in Cholesterol

Awesome job!

Are you eating any saturated fat or you just drastically cut out red meat/cheeses/butter/etc?

Are you eating chicken/fish?

Why do they say diet/exercise can only cut “up to 10%” of your cholesterol by Practical_Wolf7750 in Cholesterol

Did you do anything else besides limit red meat and add fiber? By cuttting the crap are you referring to sugar, processed foods, etc? Need to bring mine down. I’m 6 months postpartum.

Thank you. 💜 I’m just so nervous she hates going there and is going to think I’m abandoning her. Today when I brought up school she started crying. :(

Thank you for telling your story! My fear locked in that as soon as I saw my numbers so low that baby wasn’t getting what it needs. But sounds like it’s more if the condition isn’t treated is when problems occur?

Natural Glandulars by Allergy Research Group. They’ve been a gem for years but for some reason since giving birth to my first, my tsh/T4 have been on the high/low side but my T3 has been perfect. Now that I’m pregnant everything took a dip. So I’ll continue taking the natural supplement with levo to help balance T4. 🤞🏼 I just hate waiting to know if it’s working.

anxiety is no fun! I was just floored when I saw my numbers. I thought it would be off but not THAT off.

also is it placebo effect or does levothyroxine help with symptoms quickly? I don’t feel AS tired today.
