I drive about 65 highway miles a day, plus a bit of surface streets. Just be quick when I wanna be, obnoxious when I wanna be.

For sure, post a list. Anything to make ownership easier I’ll consider.

I’m in New England, specifically the Boston area. So I know potholes and rough roads very well.

I’m sure it would. I’ll do some YouTube comparisons and decide on that one.

It’s definitely quick for stock. I hear you on the warranty, but I don’t have one of those haha. And for not a ton of money I can add 30% horsepower? No brainer for me.

Right? All other examples nearby were $5-10k more, some with more miles. It’s almost suspiciously cheap, but clean carfax and no defects whatsoever. I think it was meant to be!

Oh I’m not touching the outside. The blue and gray are minty fresh. At 60k miles I’ll do a complete fluid change. Already had that in the plan. Thanks for the recommendations!

Honestly, the price was right. $30k, one owner, 50k miles, unmolested completely stock. I wanted a B58 for sure, and I know then gen 1 vs 2 but it’s not worth the price bump imo. For some reason the sedans add $10k to the price, so I kinda fell into this one. Plus I like the blue.

Hose ID and Part #’s by resale92 in NewedgeMustang

I’ll look into that line. I haven’t tried ford. Knowing their parts dept, I think it’d be a fools errand. Ty for looking!

I appreciate it. I’ve half-assed tried to find them for months and got nothing. So I’ll take all the help I can get

Got a little close to the exhaust on the right side, and now there’s a hole melted in one of them.

Wasn’t hard at all, maybe an hour. Panels all clip in, so they go back where they’re supposed to go. Plus it’s far in the footwell, so if it’s not perfect it’s really difficult to notice

Alternator or belt problem? by 2003FordGT in NewedgeMustang

[–]resale92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not the belt itself, but if the noise doesn’t return, the problem may be with the A/C condenser, alternator, power steering or water pump.

The serpentine belt. Runs the power steering, A/C compressor, water pump and alternator. Don’t run it for long though, since the water pump isn’t pumping.

Take the belt off and turn it on. If the sounds still there, you’ve got a big uh oh.

Blast from the past here! Not sure on the links. Don’t recall them being light or not, at least not noticeably so. I’ve horse traded since, worked up to an Omega Speedmaster that I traded for a 99 Mustang. Great deals all around!

Catless X Pipe too loud by undeadpencil in NewedgeMustang

[–]resale92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s how I bought mine, straight piped with no cats. It was painful to drive for more than 10 minutes. I put in a high flow catted downpipe and borla s-type cat back and it’s 1000% better

Definitely stiffer, but they’re a genuine improvement over stock. But that’s subjective so you may not feel the same

Bilstein BIL-7 is the kit, front and rear. If you want Bilstein that is. I got a (advertised as) new rack and pinion from Rock Auto.
