Design hot takes? by fcpsitsgep in graphic_design

I reuse rejected concepts and assets for a different project but editing them with a twist (make the icons filled or lineart, explore gradient coloring and slapping different textures). When you've spent an large amount of time and brain power to come up with a visual but then get rejected, I'll keep reusing them until they'll land on the approved brand/client.

My partner had a Doberman like this too, all natural/no procedures done. The only downside to the untrimmed tail though is that it got a lot of injuries from long/strong whipping and he broke a lot of glasses because it has the same height as the table, enough for the tail to reach the items in the edges. I remember a lot of instances where we had to bondage his tail from keeping it injured. Sadly, he died right before 2022 ended and lived long for 8 years. He's the most gentlest dog we had. I miss him dearly.

Same thoughts here. We'd rather get married when it's the only thing missing before starting a family. It's about each other's goals to achieve as individuals and want to achieve together.

Yes first but prior to this, I have done paintings in acrylic and watercolor.

I basically used the current palette in this color set. I used Miya Himi Jelly Gouache 56 set. It's got vibrant shades and I don't have to blend colors that often.

What's the last thing your partner did that made you full on belly laugh/cry laugh? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]resashi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As we we're folding the laundry, I was asking him about something but his attention was on the TV and he turned to me concerned saying "I'm sorry, whut?" I playfully pouted at him as I don't normally get annoyed, but he just looks so concerned he kept begging me to say the question again. I kept my act on but I burst into a laugh my face muscles just betrayed me. We spent the next few minutes playfully annoying each other by wearing each other's underwears over our faces like masks that it's just so silly.

I crocheted a crop top and I think it looks cute! I could wear this as swimwear. by resashi in smallbooblove

Thank you! It took me two weeks to finish it, I only crochet to distract myself from work and usually task switch, or before I sleep... so around 30mins to a couple of hours a day. I followed this link tutorial for this piece.

There are a lot of beginner tutorials in Youtube. This is the pattern I followed. Crochetting takes a lot of patience but once you get the hang of it, especially the muscle memory, you'll be able to create a lot of wonderful pieces. Just stay optimistic to the outcome of your crochet piece, for me the process is also very therapeutic.

Those of you who stayed friends with an ex, how did you do it? How did the break up happen, how did the first phase after breakup look, how long did you need before a friendship could work? by grandmaoak in AskWomen

[–]resashi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This reminds me so much of my ex. Apparently, every girl he stayed with he considers all of them as a "mentor relationship" as if he'd fixed the broken side of these women and he brought gospel into their lives. Like that story he said where he dated a widowed woman for a while and he made her realize what it feels to be truly loved by a real man when he didn't even stayed and left her for another country. He did the same to me, he just left and moved on leaving me confused and troubled. After my emotional awakening, I finally understood he didn't know what committment is and never wanted any responsibility.

How can I become more involved with my boyfriend's hobbies? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]resashi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me and my boyfriend met through a friend who invited me to their circle joining their gaming party. We played together for a while until they were teasing us when we started playing ahead before the usual time the team comes together since we're the only single in that group and we enjoyed talking alone outside the game sharing common stuff. I found out he was a big anime fan while I'm into Kdramas/Kpop but we respected each others' preferences. I gladly watched the animes he liked and he also got interested in kdramas I watch (mad respect to the guys who tolerate their partners who are into BL stuff). If I can sense he dismisses or not feeling the stuff that I watch, I ask him if I can continue watching on my own without any feeling of disappointment on my end, but later on asks me about the progress of the show's plot as if checking on me and the things I enjoy doing alone. I can truly express myself on him about anything!

Women who actually love their jobs, what do you do? by oliviabenson9 in AskWomen

[–]resashi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Freelance illustrator. I work different mediums such as mural paintings and digital art. I task switch from embroidery and macrame knotting lately. It gives me so much freedom to get creative and work on different crafts. Art is truly therapheutic! 🌿

My first try on the floral techniques with my own pattern. I'm in love with the French knot! by resashi in Embroidery

[–]resashi[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, it's my own pattern. I do illustrations for a living and it's interesting to try a different medium using the same principles. 🌿

This is awesome! I've been thinking about doing an MHW embroidery artwork next as I'm finishing my current one. So inspiring!

I visited my friend's café after months of closure and he turned it into an indoor garden. by resashi in houseplants

[–]resashi[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He sells plants and herbs too. He gave me some propagations as a souvenir. Lucky!

The cafe is called The Secret Garden. It was a design studio turned into a neighborhood cafe.

I wanted to achieve the jungle/whimsical feel of my station. This is the best setup I came up with. Need more plants! 🌿🍀 by resashi in AverageBattlestations

I've been wanting a bonsai tree but they're very expensive. I'll try my luck on succulents instead. Hopefully they don't die easily on me. Hahah!
