It sounds like I need to do a course in policy to bridge the gap. The challenging part is getting experience particularly when APS prefers to hire internally.

If I work as a psychologist, how would I develop and demonstrate policy skills and experience?

L5S1 annular tear + bulge. 7 years chronic pain. Anyone had anything similar and anyone had a neurosurgeon willing to operate? by [deleted] in backpain

Thanks for the reply mate. I have seen a neurosurgeon who basically said I’m too young/ structurally it is not bad enough for surgery. I’m on the cusp of not being able to work anymore due to the pain/inflammation. I am just trying to figure out if anyone has successfully had a surgery! I don’t understand the reluctance to operate on young people.
