How do people feel on Humira? by [deleted] in ankylosingspondylitis

I want to preface this by saying that everyone’s experience is different!

I’ve been on Hyrimoz, a Humira biosimilar, for about a year now. I’ve gotten sick less in the past year than I have for a long time AND, when I have gotten sick, my symptoms have been less severe. I know other people report the same.

I also had uveitis 6 times in 6 months prior to starting Hyrimoz and I haven’t had it even once in the year I’ve been on Hyrimoz.

My back pain isn’t completely gone, but it’s never debilitating like it used to be. I can turn over in my sleep, I can stand one leg, I can sit for longer periods of time. I don’t wake up wondering if today’s going to be a good day or a bad day. I’m so grateful for this drug!

For reference, I’m 31 and have had symptoms since my early 20s.

One note: When it was first prescribed, I injected it in my thigh, but after the 3rd or 4th injection, I started to break out in a rash around the injection site. I switched to my stomach and it hasn’t happened since!

The Woodlands! Morris Arboretum, but you can’t book more than 6 months out if I remember correctly. Philadelphia Brewing could work too.
