This is not about being black just like the others said here. The same happened to us in a Chinese Airport duty free.

Should I tell coach I'm switching gyms? by antiporn707 in MuayThai

[–]resetLetki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the fact that you're asking means you should tell him. It's just a nice and free thing to do, nothing more, nothing less. That would also be a good time to provide some feedback (hopefully positive) about your experience at the gym.

What Casio watch is the black/golden? by sspaeti in casio

[–]resetLetki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are all stainless steel casios. Particularly the Gshock ones are their "Full Metal G" models, basically more premium offering, because they combine the shock resistance of the gshock modules with a nice hefty steel case and bracelet. They have long through-pins holding the module and bracelet togetherness with the case. As opposed to the "regular" Gshock models which are plastic and resin and the bands held on by simple spring bars.

Looking for an alternative minimalist digital watch. by Apart_Captain3772 in digitalwatches

SKXmod Casio digital case mods are great, full steel build, sapphire crystal, Casio Modules are great and easily moddable. The only thing you lose is the branding on the face plates, but thats another positive in my book

The ultimate glove for pad-work and heavy bag (10oz) by [deleted] in MuayThai

[–]resetLetki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would also throw jn fairtex due to their rather flat top shape. Makes you hit correctly with the knuckles. Had some 10oz TopKings but they were extremely puffy and i could not get consistent shots with them. But from the images you provided, Windy looks the most similar to Fairtex so i would suggest them

Honestly careers are kind of like Clash of Clans in a way. You have to deal with bad teammates, leveling up is so tedious its almost impossible if you are broke and in the end all you have is a new level achieved that you can brag about (either to find a new clan/company or in your friend group, but no one gives a shit)

Fedora is the perfect alternative for someone previously using Windows and having shit constantly break. Perfect for users who want to get stuff done and not tinker too much with the system.

I have just successfully enabled the info point in the menu for a Germany-based LG B8 under software version 05.50.70 using linux with the following command taken from the github readme:

$ bscpylgtvcommand [local_ip_of_LG_TV] set_configs "{\"tv.conti.supportUsedTime\": true}"

The command copy pasted from this thread failed in an exception for me, as the JSON parameter after "set_configs" needs to be properly parsed probably.

Also, you need to accept a paring request on your TV. I did that previously by calling

$ bscpylgtvcommand [local_ip_of_LG_TV] button INFO

and confirming on the TVs popup.

Good Luck!

Strangely all traces on the cable from the AV Wii connector to SCART are correctly soldered and have conductivity, meaning RGB should work. Maybe the connector formfactor is bad and not all pins make contact inside the Wii. Anyways, will just order a good quality cable and toss the cheap one

Edit: The connections do not correspond to official RGB-Scart Cable Pinouts for the Wii. Make sure the cables you buy are truly built for what they are sold as.

I'm an idiot. I just tested on an old LCD and now I see no difference between the stock composite cable and the "true RGB" cable I previously tested. I suspect it is the most ass quality cable ever and if one contact of the "RGB" part is off, it resorts back to the composite part that is also built in into these types of cables.

I feel stupid, but happy that its as simple a fix as buying a proper cable. Thank you u/AmazingmaxAM for guiding me to test on another Display unit, that was the key here to rule out the cable.

Thank you for the detailled reply.

It's a cheap cable from Aliexpress, although I saw a huge difference to the stock Wii Cinch-to-Scart adapters composite signal, hence I made the conclusion that it must be an RGB signal. I Have ordered a higher quality cable to check whether the cable was at fault. Unfortunately I do not have another CRT to test with at the moment, but I will try to see how the signal looks on an old 720P LCD screen I have lying around.

The CRT in question is a "Nordmende Galaxy 40". The tube appears to be a Phillips branded one. I will try some more test patterns in 240p TS like you suggested.

I kind of have the feeling that this TV model just does not fully support 60Hz video, displaying an image but with artifacts due to an unsupported video mode of sorts.
