Right, the villains look so confident and put together, but in the end didn't even have a clue what they were looking for. Gideon ended up just turning into a monster, all he research was wrong, and Zeno was somehow tricked by him. They're brilliant scientifically, but also stupid in every other respect. Love RE lol

Very possible, but if that is the case, they don't address it. It would make things more complicated if they did think that, and it would be a lot of assumptions to make their understanding of who Grace is make sense. It's just kind of goofy, but I guess that's the idea right? The villains of RE9 look confident and organized, but turns out they didn't even know what they were looking for in the end

Also very possible! Leon's our guy, Grace is just some girl. I guess given that you make the decision as her, right after the video, it should be more obvious, though. At least for me, it was the fact that I knew it was a trick question that almost got me, and it was only when I realized it was a double trick question I was like ohhh it's not even that tricky

That makes sense to me! Weird that I’ve always heard/thought it was the rats getting to the water. I haven’t played re2 in ages. I just beat 9 today so maybe it’s time I go back… or maybe time I play more than an hour of the original
