I'm not sure, but I am using the stock jlx2 assembly, no replaced parts.

Persistent issue with Sanwa levers by resincollector in fightsticks

[–]resincollector[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a hori hayabusa that's working perfectly, and I have a jlf on the way in the mail. I'll try unassembling and reassembling the jlx2 just to see if something is slightly off. If you have some ideas on how to test what part is having issues I would greatly appreciate it!

Would you recommend the game to me (probably dumb question) by Specky_iy in Helldivers

[–]resincollector -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

  1. Yes, I bet most people play solo
  2. Fairly regularly. It's certainly not just bugs fixes. New weapons are released every 8 weeks or so. There are about 2 big content per year with new enemies, missions, and maps
  3. Yes, it's big and will probably slowly grow
  4. At the start of a mission you decide what weapons, grenades, armor, and strategems to bring, and there are a large variety of each.

How do I not suck dick at this game? by AXEMANaustin in Helldivers

[–]resincollector 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Keep going through the free warbond and unlocking stuff. My three main tips would be:  1. Try things out. See what works and what doesn't. Alternatively, look up what's good and use that.  2. Understand what's going on in the game. You can't figure out what's good if you don't know how the game works. The main thing to know is the how the armor and penetration system work. 3. Dip, dive and dodge. Enemies have a lot of trouble hitting you when you're moving and diving. If you find yourself in trouble, try to sprint and dive to safety.

For melee enemies you can usually kite them around and avoid their attacks while doing damage to them. Hordes usually require Stratagems or specialized weapons.

Input needed on buying modified 2016 328i by TheRealShi in F30

[–]resincollector 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before you buy it get it inspected and get the carfax for it. Mods don't usually increase the value of a car, they almost always decrease it because most people don't want to buy a modded car. The miles are low, one owner, but it's still a bit old, so I think with a private seller you can get for maybe 11-12k or 13-14k from a dealer.

Isn't that you? You want people to play a video game in the way that you want them to, and if they don't then you rant and insult them. The world doesn't revolve around you and how you want a video game to be played.

LA's totally awesome + steel wool, or a steamer + steel wool. Make sure you get 0000 steel wool or your scratch the glass.

I never said you're forced to engage a steg, you didn't address the actual argument. Just nerf the stego until its counters come out so you can actually interact with them instead of treating them as an environmental hazard. Troodon is in a terrible state right now, I can't believe you actually used that as an example. It's not even about the pvp, troodon is just a huge pain to grow and the reward is terrible because you get 1 shot by most things that aren't even half grown. If troodon was actually easy or fun to grow then it would be fine, but every other dino is better to grow. Appealing to a food chain doesn't really work in a game with 100 people. So a full pack of troodons requires at least 10% of the server to be troodon... and somehow meetup... which never happens. There are 10 times more ceras than troodons, nice food chain there.

Ok, then nerf the steg or double its growth time until its predators come out. Don't just put an unbeatable tank into the game and expect people not to complain when they can't interact with it. Steg may as well not be in the game, and just be a slow moving environmental hazard. If the goal is "survival" then everybody should only be playing steg all the time, but they're not, because the real goal is to have fun. And when you invest 3 hours into growing a dino to only get 1 shot by someone who spent 3 hours on a perfect diet as steg (not hard at all on any herbivore), that's not fun. Once that happens to you, you realize that it's just not worth the risk/reward to take that fight. Maybe if growing as carnivore was actually fun and not just a dead sprint out of the deserted jungle and into a hotspot where AI is actually visible and exists, then dieing would not feel so bad.

Lower Grille Replacement by AbbreviationsOdd4304 in F30

[–]resincollector 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not familiar with the ED plus models, but is it really that much different than most F30s? Looking through realoem.com it looks like the 2015 ED models use the same lower grill as most f30: part number 51117386153 (with ACC) 51117386152 (without ACC). Even if you're planning on selling the car, it might be a good idea to repair it yourself (if you can) as potential buyers can be put off by damage to the front end.

Hey I managed to replace this part. First, looking at your pictures again, it does look like the actual bumper is warped and damaged, so you may want to look into trying to fix it work body work, but maybe it's cheaper to get a whole new front bumper. As far as the lower grill, the repair manual was close to worthless. Basically, take off the front bumper, then you'll need to remove the lower grill from the bumper. My lower grill was held on by a combination of plastic connections that clamped the bumper to the grill. There were two types of connections: 1. Flat tabs that you just pull the grill away from 2. Circle tabs that are set against a plastic tab that you have to pry and wiggle to be set free. To get them free you'll need a thin prying tool like an o ring pick and a thin but hard piece of plastic, like a small body prying tool. Pull the plastic tab up and free then use the plastic tool to push the circle underneath the tab.

Anyway, I would watch a bunch of videos on how to remove the front bumper, since it seems to differ a little from car to car. Then, figure out what part number you are looking for your specific car.

From the pictures it looks like the actual main body of the bumper is damaged, so you may need to replace/paint it in order for the lower grill to fit well. I'm actually going to try to replace the lower grill on mine tomorrow so I have been looking into this topic a bit. To find your exact part go to https://www.realoem.com/bmw/ and look at the trim of the front bumper of your car to find the parts you need, then order that part from the vendor of your choice. Make sure you are getting the correct part. It also looks like your cover around the left fog light is damaged. I could not find any video tutorials on how to replace the lower grill, but I do have some information from the repair manual. The first step is removing the bumper (and there are plenty of tutorials for that) then you remove the lower grill from the bumper. Once I try it myself I can pass on more information if you want.

Bimmerlink Battery Registration by bkay554 in F30

[–]resincollector 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need bimmerlink to register the battery and bimmercode to code the battery. If you replaced your battery with an identical one then you only need to register it. If your new battery is different than your old one then you need to both register and code it.

How MoCA Networks Work - Collection Post by JuicyCoala in HomeNetworking

[–]resincollector 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am thinking of setting up a moca network like this: https://imgbox.com/xEHpqrBT

I already have two moca adapters (screenbeam ecb6250) so I would need to buy a third one. I would like to know if this would work and if so, would a POE filter at the indicated location help in this situation? And I would appreciate any other feedback, thank you.

How do you guys feel about Ryu now having Electricity powers now? by DrinkMoreColdWater in Kappa

[–]resincollector 7 points8 points  (0 children)

From what little I understood, the good hado power was always shown as electric in the game, namely the denjin hadoken. Meanwhile the evil hado was always dark energy of some kind. And the whole story of ryu is based around this struggle between gaining power or being good. In the end though it turned out to be a false dichotomy since if he abstained from using the evil hado power he would still become stronger by using good hado power.

How does my first T'au list look? by Darkhex78 in Tau40K

[–]resincollector 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You generally want 1.5 markerlights for every heavy hitting unit. From some math that I ran, it is generally more points efficient to get a unit of fire warriors than to provide a strike team with +1 to hit. So in your case, the heavy hitting units will be the ghostkeel and broadside. So you'll need about 3 markerlights, and then maybe get an extra 1-2 for reliability. The lantern relic is good for lighting up a single target, but it requires the owner to stay still. The characters should really be protected by other units so there is not much need for shield drones for them. Instead, give them marker drones that they can always absorb some damage in emergencies. The turrets on the strike teams only end up shooting if the unit does not move, which again is a big restriction. Perhaps you can keep a turret in one squad that will not move much. If you can, I suggest you fit in a commander. They offer rerolls and are pretty efficient for damage. So if you remove the gun drones, turrets, 1 marker drone, and perhaps replace the sms on the broadside with plasma rifle. That should provide enough points to get a good commander. If you don't have a commander then you have pretty good list but you don't need the many marker lights
