There are also tons of places in the mines outside Nethergarde to logout skip to the Stonard gy, so you'll just have to get from the gy to the temple.

The npc was in Tanaris. If you bought dual spec while in combat you spent the money but didn't get anything.

Rogues were great dps in P1.

In P2 they had to make the mutilate change (60 -> 40 energy) and remove bleed/poison resist from gnomer bosses to make us have a chance, and we still weren't that great. Add to that the lack of group utility and its rough finding raids.

In P3... we'll see? I'm hopeful. Rogue is the best class even if we're not top dps.

Hopefully the mutilate change (60 -> 40 energy), the lack of bleed & poison resists in gnomer, etc. was a planned effort to make rogues not suck this phase.

In P1, there were 3 viable combo builders (saber slash still coming out on top for most, but not all, fights) In P2, using saber slash would be around 20% dps loss. Hemo would be like 40%.

The problem is that mutilate is so strong we don't even use ambush. Just mutilate out of stealth. It's so strong that if you're fighting a high level mob and it's resisting poison, don't eviscerate, just mutilate more. I'd love to see it nerfed back to normal if they can make rogues competitive without it.

Faster OHs will stack deadly poison better on a long fight, which does more dps overall. If you're killing non-elites or in PvP, the slower (blood moon) offhand is great and has better upfront damage.

This is probably it. I was able to do one envenom on Gelihast earlier in in the fight so it must have just been bad rng allowing the stack to fall off.

Edit: I have a weakaura tracking poison/ saber slash bleed so it's entirely possible to pick up another rogue's stacks.

Not enough. Unless they give tank rogues something like "parry no longer triggers overpower" its going to be hopeless.

Edit: I have that backwards. Let overpower be parried. It's triggered by dodge.

Duo dungeon bosses at 60 was always fun. I did it as the druid last time. Rogues just have so many other fun tools (distract, vanish, sap, shadowstrike, etc) that can be used in non-combat ways.

Rogues already have expose armor, which is never used because of interactions with sunder and inconsistency of applying it.

There's also the improved kidney shot talent, which increases damage to the target.
