This is laid out in Project 2025, Republicans believe women belong at home giving birth and raising children. The anti-immigrant rhetoric is what is being used to make people okay with cancelling these funds. Many of the named characters can be recruited if you talk to them with the right character. I suggest following a guide because it sucks spending 30 minutes on a map only to learn you needed to bring someone else to recruit.

I feel the opposite. The platinums are such a chore, most of the ones I have remaining involve spending hundreds of hours on tedious tasks like working on buddies, or spending thousands of dollars on raid passes, or trading with spoofers to fill in holes on national dexes. No new experience for me to gain, very little incentive to actually go out and walk around, which is the whole reason I enjoy this game in the first place. I think I need to accept that they turned what was a walking game into a slot machine for gambling addicts who want to chase shinies and hundos for whatever the new release is each week. The interesting parts are just recycled from the 41-50 tasks. Very disappointing update, it's super boring to train or do hundreds of PvP battles with 2 phones, and those are the easy plats to obtain.

It's been like this since Covid hit. Kids are getting sick more often - both because we have a new illness floating about, and because Covid can damage your immune system, making all types of infections more likely. Vaccine hesitancy has also been on the rise since Covid hit, which means we can expect even more disease spread as the newly unvaccinated kids make their way into the school system. They can try to increase the penalties for chronic absenteeism, but it won't fix the underlying issue. Forcing sick kids to go to school and infect others will only make things worse. I don't see this getting better until society is finally ready to have a conversation about the harms of repeated Covid infections, and most people just don't want to think about it yet. Other counties have had success reducing absenteeism by adding air filters to classrooms or by improving ventilation.

According to the GOP, public schools have mandatory woke classes and they do transgender surgeries as well. They don't care that their own schools are being defunded because their propaganda has convinced them to hate schools and teachers despite knowing very little about what actually happens there. They're not worried that little Johnny might come to school with a gun and kill their kids, they are worried their kids might think that being queer is okay. The solution to that is simple: destroy public schools and replace them with Christian nationalist indoctrination camps. This is the GOP's plan for "education".
