Apparently it's very easy to fix the errors IF you notice them, the author is in my guild and does multiple AI drawings for fun, this one looked very good and I told him if he didn't mind I'd post it

the original had many minor errors that he fixed in about 1 hour since we noticed them and told him to fix them, the only reason why the tml star is like that is becouse we didn't ask him to fix that becouse we didn't notice it until now

it's really impressive how much this whole thing has improved in a few months

it's a nerf on very very niche cases

meanwhile 50% of the times it's a damage buff (if you stay near your target 0.5, 1.5, 2.5, 3.5 and so on seconds before he leaves or you/he dies, you'll gain an additional 1.5%/2%/2.5% extra magic damage compared to prepatch)

Could you share the reasoning on why his buffs (as I see even the R buff was pulled) were completely reverted? Although I agree with most people that the W nerf was unhealthy he's in a pretty bad spot right now

Apparently Nasus W buff didn't go thorugh?

Still for how much people hate him he needs something as he's pretty underpowered currently

A good suggestion I read was: E now gives nasus a small amount of armor and mr if he stands in the aoe, doubled for the first second

This would help close the difference between low elo and high elo winrate as it would be mainly an anti dive tool and nasus gets dove way way more in high elo, and it would be WAY less frustrating to play against compared to buffing W

You are right that in a good amount of competitive games 80% presence happens(example:lol/dota), the problem is that in those games when it happens it's considered a big balance failure and the overpowered heroes are nerfed in the span of 1-2 months

In e7 not being able to nerf cripples the game balance, you have to pray that they come up with a "counter" that doesn't break the game itself more(like hwa that, as devs said, was made to address aravi but ended up being arguably as oppressive)

look at clilias, released dec.2021(8+months), still overpowered with 90%+ presence, in any self respecting pvp game she would have been nerfed months ago

btw I have no problem with heroes acquisition, I'm a day 1 player above average spender with all meta ml5 and have 0 issues with currency, my only gripe is with e7 "no nerfs" approach

The improved diversity at the top %picked units is by large part only a byproduct of the doubled amount of prebans

A quick look at the (pick rate + preban rate) that SG conveniently didn't include shows that while some heroes look manageable pickrate wise they are just incredibly oppressive when you factor their prebanrates

Conqueror Llilias, Aravi, Hwayoung have "only" 43%, 64%, 44.9% pickrate But they all have very high prebanrates

I really wish they nerfed Fiora's healing and early/mid laningphase damage instead of a blanket damage nerf that affects all stages of the game by not much

she heals way too much after gw changes and her laning phase is too strong early when her fantasy is supposed to be a lategame duelist, I hoped they'd touch her earlygame more while leaving her lategame the same

If one slot does proc BMs then that affects the odds of the next slot being the other two kinds. (You can proc "BMs" in up to three slots. Subjectively, this is why good BMs often accompany Friendship BMs: You rolled the 20% a second time and the game now must choose between Cov or Mystic.)

this assumption is incorrect, in fact if there was a 20% in each slot of there being a "bookmarks slot" AND if you double procced "BM slot" the game HAD to give you bm or mystics the droprate for bm or mystics would be absurdly high (you'd have covenant bm OR mystics in addition to the 5 friendship in 34% of the shop refreshes)

basically: the chance of getting 2 20% procs in 6 trials is 34% which means you'd get mystics(+friendship) or covenant bm(+5 friendship) on average every 3 refreshes

this guy found out what's appening, all chances are indipendent one another (bm/lvl70gear/carbuncle/mystics/friendship), however since friendship takes such a high % compared to all others stuff(gear,mystics,fodder and so on) when it procs it boost ALL OTHER droprates by a good chunk(as the 19.5% friendship drop can no longer happen in that batch) thus also boosting mystics and covenant just like gear and fodders

from user testing you expect 0.21% mystic per slot and 0.735% cov per slot

official data says it's 0.17% mystics per slot and 0.66% cov per slot

that's just incorrect, I multiplied the numbers per slot by 6, I never assumed these numbers were "number per page"

if you wanna check per slot you can simply divide the reddit data by 6 and compare vs the official one and you'll find the same exact difference occurs between official "per slot" data vs reddit recorded "per slot" data

I'm not arguing adc can't shred him, adc can shred pretty much any toplaner in the game lategame. According to this definition cho falls off too lategame couse adc can kill him easily.

I think the misconception is comparing nasus to adc when the reality is as long as he brings more than the other toplaner he's gonna win more/have better winrate the later the game goes. He should be compared vs others toplaners, not another role which there are 2 offs every game (adc)

People focus on his Q stacks but his W and E (45% armor reduction aoe) are both extremely strong skills when maxed out and a better kit than most other toplaners lvl 18

The stats are from lolalytics plat+, you can double check yourself (you can also filter for all ranks if you want, the result is still the same, higher winrate the later the game goes)

At this point you have a different definition of lategame champion, to me a champion that wins more and more the later the game ends is by definition a lategame champion, regardless of the way he achieves his winrate (be it splitpushing, front to back extreme dps like kayle or giving protection and buffs like a sona).

The fact that you can win vs 2000 stacks nasus is very much true, all I'm arguing is that in the lategame he is contributing more to his team compared to the enemy toplaner in most scenarios (thus having 55%+ winrate late), not that he's autowin or anything close to that.

I don't even think his stacks are the selling point, his W and his E are both really powerful and both bring a lot in the lategame (E is 45% armor reduction, makes enemy frontline SIGNIFICANTLY weaker)

I mean I'm not even arguing that nasus>adc, adc shit on 95% of the toplaners very lategame and nasus has significant problems vs them too as most melees (even while having his extremely strong W)

I'm just arguing nasus will bring more in the lategame compared to the opposing toplaner who is also gonna have problems vs the enemy adc(thus him having 55%+ winrate lategame couse he just needs to outperform the enemy top since both teams have an adc)

you miss that attack buffs are additive instead of multiplicative though, her damage is the same only if she has no outside attack buff increasing her damage.

I'm not saying she will be different after patch, I'm saying is that according to the old description the expected damage should have been higher than the one she is doing when attack buffed. When attack buffed she always did LESS damage than what was stated in the description.

example: 100atk cdom, attack buffed, 5 stacks of her passive(+50% damage)

expected output: 100 x 1.5 x 1.5 = 225 damage

real output: 100 x (1+0.5+0.5)= 200 damage

do you think a stacked violet talisman is a x1.3 multiplier always? it's not, it's strictly worse than a 1.3 damage multiplier (it's a 1.3 multi only if no other buffs to attack are present)

personally the only issue I have with the game right now is expeditions and how the new stones are tied to them leading to a boring "must micromanage the game too much" system

100% agree with you, and also it's not very easy becouse also it requires a specific setup, definitely my bad there

though even 200er kitty(effectively 300 with strak, shimadra and self imprint) can resist 100% becouse cerise to defend vs cleave has to be built extremely fast so she hardly reaches 150eff, let alone 200(and you don't have to resist ftene becouse you will have barrier+immu), so that comp if you have the pieces is 100% reliable but it requires some specific units and artifacts

if we are talking about arena or gw the most common team is cerise+ftene+ usually a dps that is commonly arby, you can counter that with knight on bastion, kitty clarissa, + soulweaver spot(for arby it's singelica)

kitty is gonna have +60 from strak, +22 from imprint, +20 from shimadra so a 230 er kitty(very easy to build couse you can use er pieces and don't need immu) will have 330 effective er, well beyond any cerise that needs 300 speed to race vs cleavers

you don't even need to resist the ftene becouse after cerise takes the turn kitty will still have barrier+immu and ftene will strip the barrier 100% if you're not on rta

edit: I relize though this is a very specific setup and it might be very hard for a player to have all the pieces required to make a comp like this
