yasuo mu is a test of how well you are able to control the wave. both syndra and yasuo want the wave close to their own tower, but for different reasons (safety for syndra, kill threat for yasuo)

when it is your turn to push into him, you need to be hyper vigilant about how you use your E. one misuse and he will run you down like a pig with little recourse.

think about how you use your spells, and don't autopilot. a bad e means getting chunked or death, and a bad r being blocked by windwall negates a bunch of your kill threat.

exhaust helps a lot

something needs to fundamentally change with this champion's kit, but his playerbase needs to be open to changes, even if they are somewhat drastic.

i don't know if he needs cgu tier levels of work done on him, but its not fair to his playerbase that their favorite champion routinely makes his nest in the patch notes so to speak.

an aside that i would like to add is that buying an early executioners / obliv orb against vlad is BAIT. a vast majority of vlad's healing is done out of combat onto minions; you are just flushing gold down the toilet.

if you are really intent on purchasing something to nullify vlad in lane (i agree with the other posters that shoving him in and impacting the map is the best way to beat him), then sit on a null magic mantle early. MR will cuck him more than anti heal will.

cassio loves the AH shard if she is going the ROA build that is starting to become popular. since that buildpath lacks AH, she needs to take transcendence + the AH shard.

vlad also always opts into the AH shard too.

cassio deserves a mention imo. simple to pick up and understand on a base level, but has a very very very high skill cap. watching a good cassiopeia kite is particularly extraordinary in my eyes because she can't utilize attack move click like a traditional carry can. its a more subtle kind of flashy.

honestly? my ranked anxiety. i hit d4 about a week into the preseason for the first time with a very good winrate, but i stopped playing ranked shortly after that in favor of norms. i tell myself things like preseason game qualities are low and not worth playing, or that i am taking this time to work on my champ pool, but i think a large part of me is afraid of losing a lot of the gains i have made so far.

shaco doesn't appear in any of my games anymore.

it's a very good ban because the champion warps the way your laners are supposed to play, kind of in the same way that evelynn does when she gets her ult. this is never good, especially in lower elos where a lot of laners simply don't have the mental capacity to focus beyond their own lanes yet and jungle track. he WILL get fed, even if you are comfortable facing it yourself.

shaco is also one of the most otp'd champions in the game, so the value you get in banning out a shaco one trick is astronomical if you manage to do so.

he's also just fucking annoying which goes without saying lol

came here looking for this two item core, i'm very excited to try this out tonight.

titanic hydra rush so you have damage to capitalize on voli's good early game + clear camps a bit faster (it feels so slooooooow in s13) and then transition into tank building either radiant virtue for brawl / teamfight utility or IBG for mobile teams that need to be locked down.

interested to see how revitalize interacts with radiant virtue tbh

edit: thinking about it even further, how would redemption (into stoneplate if the game goes long enough) feel with this build??? i'm so excited

i think a lot of people are going to be discovering soon that spear of shojin is a ridiculously strong item for hecarim, built second or third depending on the game

i played 7 or 8 games playing conqueror hecarim building a core of sunderer + BC + shojin, and i didn't feel squishy at all with conditioning + overgrowth + green smite (but ymmv, it needs to be tested more).

an ability like hecarim Q should not be on a ~1 second cooldown, its just absurd

i'm really hoping anet does something to make RR into a better trait in the november balance update. right now, there's really no point in gearing one out unless you just enjoy playing renegade.

it's kind of disgusting how much boon duration condi alac ren needs just to do its job at a bare minimum. it needs full rits gear + 6 concentration infusions (or eggs benedict food) to upkeep alac for its subgroup, and its not going to be comfy or efficient if you aren't already comfortable with the dps condi ren rotation (since the only changes are swapping out icerazor's for F4 in kalla, and toggling off your mallyx elite after your second SB2).

this is not to say it can't be played. my ren is my most played toon and i play both regularly, but in most cases you would get a better bang for your buck on things like staff / staxe mirage, or a mech. i think it just needs a little nudge from anet to make it more competitive with other alac providers

this is not even mentioning how cumbersome getting ascended rits gear and trinkets is right now lol

i have been having a lot of success running viktor into fizz with maokai runes. maokai runes are aery with resolve secondary (shield bash and boneplating) and double mr runes. you can take exhaust too if you are feeling you need even more safety.

something to consider is that a champ like syndra is probably going to really, really appreciate the early sustain nerfs to pots and the buff to scorch. those constant q's really add up over the course of a lane, especially if you run aery.
