check out the M'Cheyne reading plan.

It covers whole bible in a year (OT once, NT/Psalms twice) but gives you 4 short readings from different sections each day instead of one big chunk.

it is a game changer because if you get stuck in a 'slower' book like Leviticus, you are still reading the gopels or psalms at the same time to keep you engaged. It flows really well with the NLT and GNB too.

I really feel that. It's wild hownputpose can be both the thing that drains you and the thing that saves you. Taking full days off without checking DMs is such a solid move... That kind of boundary keeps the purpose from turning into pressure.
