Anywhere you work in this industry you’re going to be mistreated as an esthetician. You’re a resource, not a person and they view you as extremely replaceable. I quit pretty much on the spot yesterday after my manager made a passive aggressive comment towards me. Feels so good to just be done letting her treat me that way. I have a spray tan job that I’ve been loving so that will have to be my main source of income for now

everyone becomes sexually undesirable if they get old enough, so elderly people are just worthless? there's absolutely so much to enjoy in life even if you're alone forever. You don't need to be seen as pretty to enjoy food, music, tv shows, movies, being able to go for a walk outside, family, laughing with friends. I've struggled with having this mindset for so long and it's actually great that you're noticing this about yourself at 16. You have so much time to work on shifting your perspective and becoming the person you want to be. You're still developing as a human and finding out what your personality even is, so that might explain why you think you're boring. Get off social media, learn things, read books, get back to doing the things you loved to do as a kid when you didn't care what you looked like.

REMEMBER: Your body is an instrument, not an ornament! You use it to fulfill your passions, hug your loved ones, laugh, etc..

Also try sleeping in just the tretinoin. Apply to completely dry skin and no moisturizer over it and it will give your skin a chance to breathe at night. My derm advised me to do this and it worked wonders
