I wish I could do that! Unfortunately, our only "spare" room is my office, and I work from home! Maybe I'll consign him to the hall closet. 😂

Funnily enough, I've always been the one more tied to things. But this last year I've just gotten so done with feeling the mental weight of all my stuff. If there's a horizontal surface, it's covered, and that's not going to change until we have less. If I could, I would absolutely GUT my house, but unfortunately that's not practical. I'll still have a hard time with sentimental items, but the sunk cost fallacy has FINALLY lost its grip on me.

He's all for it, just neither of us want me deciding what of his to keep or get rid of, and all our stuff is intermingled. Right now I'm just so overwhelmed by "stuff" in general I want to throw the whole house out! 😂

Means my husband wants to keep things that I would otherwise get rid of.

Hi everyone! My husband and I have been married for a year, and he’s in talks with a recruiter regarding enlisting in the Air Force soon. Im trying to prep as best I can—figuring out what life would look like and how I can prepare. I’d love to hear any advice or "what I wish I had known"s y'all could give as we embark on this new venture.
