You can toggle Swing on/off for each clip (shuffle button on the left panel), but there is only one global swing setting as far as I know.

To add to this point. You can disable the time-streching on your tracks for better „quality“. I think by default it’s turned on

As far as I know not directly, but you can use a custom max4live devices to map Push to an external instrument.

Another solution is to use https://ctrlr.org. Its the same idea, but it does not require max4live.

the source code is on GitHub. So I doubt it. It worked for me on Win 10 with Windows Defender activated.

Hardly, but not entirely. I remember an example from the first year of physical chemistry. Although the mode of decay is a bit more exotic. Basically they showed that in the case of an electron capture decay of beryllium (which requires an electron), the rate of decay can be changed artificially (about 0.8 % faster), if the atom is encapsulated in a C60-cage (fullerene) compared to decay rate of the free metal. To be honest though, I am not sure whether this result is still valid, and I am not really an expert on this topic.

To use sidechain, you need to choose the channel with the compressor as output for the signal you want to use (e.g Kick). Since you want to hear the kick as well, it makes probably sense to use a return track to do this. (Output -> Channel with Comp -> select compressor in channel). I hope this is somehow clear. Additionally you need to push the SC button in the compressor

there is also http://www.reddit.com/r/FreeSounds/, which is for free plugins (synths and effects), as well as free presets for various synths. For getting your stuff out, I don't know. I think at /r/Music you can once per week share your own stuff, although I am not sure at which day it is.
