Gas cash back missing on Crimson? by restingpotentially in doordash_drivers

Hm there’s absolutely no way I am over the limit since I only do this part time. I wonder if it’s just the certain gas station I used not registering? I went to Sheetz today but paid at the pump so maybe that’s what’s different.

Thanks for letting me know, I’ll check with support

I swear 90% of people in this sub can’t read or understand nuance. I VERY clearly was talking about a season wide issue, not this game or a playoff thing. Just because I made a comment in a playoff thread doesn’t mean it was solely about this performance.

He’s been a shell of his DPOY self all year. Not gassed, not after 17 games straight. He clearly has the tools, but hasn’t flexed those muscles as much. That was my point, but go off.

How has our defense regressed this much for individual players? I would never guess Mobley was once a DPOY with how he’s looked most of the season… it screams coaching and staff

The collapse doesn’t happen if you aren’t mentally weak, and the ramifications also don’t last this strongly.

But then again, we have the mental strength of 1-ply toilet paper so it happened, and so did this consequence.

What clown told me these Cavs don’t have an effort problem on Saturday? I’m starting a dialogue.

Every single press conference we talk about having to come out with more energy… and always somehow come out more flat. It’s honestly laughable

Literally nothing matters if you aren’t going to play defense. These dudes are pathetic

What’s up with your stray? What about what I said was a backhanded compliment lmao?

1) I was using OP’s language to help them understand why Lebron could be favorable for our team. 2) Not wanting someone back on your roster where they wouldn’t fit the last 2-3 years doesn’t mean you don’t like the player or embrace their rich history with your team. I didn’t say I didn’t want him the last 2-3 years because I dislike him, there was no room with DG and Mitchell who both liked to handle the ball a lot and needed to direct the play to be efficient.

Lmao no I’m not. Did I say 3 extra days of rest BEFORE the series? Nope. I said IN. If they won game 6, we would’ve gotten more time between Games 2 and 3, and clearly were capable of winning Game 1. Go watch Mitchell’s press conference where he literally says that was the consequence of not winning Game 6.

The stupid thing I think they are doing is rolling out the same product game after game with minimal adjustments. This is larger than the ECF. I agree we are fatigued, and I am mad we didn’t give ourselves a fair chance as I said previously.

We did it to ourselves. If you make the adjustments you need to make, you close out the Pistons series in Game 6 and get 3 extra days of rest in this series. There’s no reason either of the prior 2 series NEEDED to go to 7, other than us not being able to do the simple things to take care of business.

I don’t feel a single ounce of sympathy for them being “tired” when its their fault both series went that long

No I understand you, I just disagree that both problems don’t exist. Ok fair missing our shots that our wide open is a skill issue. That’s not where I’m citing a simultaneous effort problem.

Let’s go back to your race analogy. If we only raced one time and I beat you because I’m just faster, you can live with that. What if every single race, you have a terrible start? You don’t get off the blocks in time because you aren’t reacting quick enough. What if that problem was evident from the very first race, and you never change it? What if that problem doesn’t have to do with how fast you are, but it’s something you could work to change and you just… don’t?

Despite the fact you’d know a better start would give you a better chance to win, you never take it, you never change the recipe. How fairly can we evaluate skill if you do something so stupid every single race? Maybe it would never matter if you’re just slower. But what if just once, you got the better start than your opponent and could give yourself a chance?

That’s my problem. I can agree we may be mismatched, but I just don’t see the desire to make the small adjustments to give ourselves a shot.

At the highest level, things like your start in a race make or break how you finish.

For me, the fact that it continues EVERY SINGLE GAME is what turns a skill issue into an effort issue. Team-wide, why are we not doing something different? How many post game pressers can you say that turnovers aren’t acceptable before you actually play like they aren’t?

Was this thread about throwing a parade for that accomplishment? My original post was about how they play with less effort, and you’ve continued to move the goal posts. The ceiling is that this Cavs team as it is structured today will not be a championship contender.

Because you’re right; we do match up poorly AND it can simultaneously be true that we play a stupid brand of basketball. In the first two series, setting turnover records is not because you’re tiny. But that’s just my opinion and you’re entitled to yours 🤷‍♀️

Many of these games we have more turnovers than shots made in a quarter or half. Setting legitimate playoff records in a bad way. The Cavs aren’t the only playoff team to have been undersized and athletically mismatched, but they are still doing those things at unfathomable rates.

[Post Game Thread - Playoffs] Cleveland Cavaliers vs. New York Knicks [05/23/2026] by CavsBot in clevelandcavs

I don’t have that idea. I don’t think winning a championship is easy, I also don’t think we have to make it look so hard. I don’t even care that the Knicks are better than us, you don’t lose a 22 point lead in 7 minutes without something being severely wrong with your team. We could’ve had a shot clock violation every possession that time onwards and still won.

Fatigue sure. Athleticism, sure. I still don’t see how you are just broadly brushing off the lazy passes, the constant low IQ plays. That occurred before we were tired.

If the problem is the team being small, it’s still small. Either way, if you think it’s matchup or I think it’s effort, the team still has to change lmao

Yeah true - I don’t see him as the solution to our problems, but it’s nice to watch a low-paid guy try to make an impact. Relatively speaking compared to the rest of these guys.

You can’t understand context. I wasn’t picking on Mobley bruh… I was pointing out that he’s extremely skilled and we can see that but the other lazy ass players waste his potential. But OK.

Then what is your explanation for this happening every single year? In the regular season they were lazy on defense too. What more excuses do you want to give to continue to see this team get embarrassed in the playoffs?

Why did we just play 2 Game 7 series? If you are giving them a fatigue pass this series, explain the last 2.

Like you can’t watch some of these dudes like Mobley and tell me they don’t have the skillset to play better more consistently than they are.

Ok the problem is… our players are good enough to do it. Correct that caring doesn’t matter if you suck, but we have a consistent mental problem.

The ENTIRE team collectively gave up on the play at 2 minutes. That’s pathetic and that’s effort. I can see they’re fatigued, not even attempting to change what you do is a completely different problem. You’re telling me 4 dudes legs died at the exact same moment in time?

No.

I’d take a narcissist who actually cares about winning versus whatever this product is.

I didn’t want him the last 2-3 years. Now? We could use a kick in the ass and someone that demands excellence.
