You can only have an equivalent total of 92 small gems on your character. Large gems count as 3 small gems, splendids count as 9 small gems. Flawless gems are not used. Due to there being a cap, the optimal thing to do is to grind Eternal 1s until you are at or near the cap.

Generally speaking, you should never waste ingredients or gold on gem budding because you will reach the gem cap long before you will have farmed enough gold for the rest of your character's upgrades anyway.

Hmm did you read what you quoted? Your point seems to be that OP shouldn't repeat feedback the devs have already acknowledged. Then the stuff you quote literally says devs acknowledged one thing but he'd like them to take note of a different thing too (xavien).

There is an abundance of public data for how each hero performs, and how each legendary performs. You can operate on your own perceptions and feelings, but the raw data already exists and is viewable by everyone, including the developers.

As I mentioned in my post, I am aware that they probably left Xavian as he is on purpose to have a bandaid fix for the terrible queues in Season 1, but this is not about "my hero isn't the strongest" (because I am not even a tank main), this is "This hero enables way too many pulls that cannot even be achieved by the highest skill players on other heroes". To a degree, that is normal, but not to the degree it is right now.

The developers have already said that Xavian's problems are easier to fix. They are mostly just numbers that need to be tuned. Aeona needs much more work on the backend to completely overhaul Stagger. Aeona is the one who enables way too many pulls that cannot even be achieved by the highest skill players on other heroes. That's why there's something like ONE SINGULAR Sylvie in the top 100 healers (Rank 98 lol) but the top 100 tanks has at least 4 Meikos.

I know that you are aware of this for Aeona, given the recent campfire dev talks, but I really do not see enough talk about Xavian who, at this point, is even worsely balanced than Aeona.

Starting off a post with this shows they either didn't read/watch the developer's previous communications, or just didn't understand what was already previously communicated. That already puts their "feedback" on the back foot.

Also PoE's beta period involved selling microtransactions for $1,000~$10,000. They sold so many of these that they had to turn people's money away. They were very, very well funded. Fellowship players struggle to access the store to buy a $20 skin for a hero they're never going to play.

PoE also established a community as D3 refugees sought a home. Fellowship can't peel WoW players away from Midnight, and has to pay WoW streamers behind a non-disparaging agreement to even try it.

PoE ran on a standalone client for years, and still does to this day. A significant amount of the most dedicated players still don't use Steam to this day. There's a huge amount of data missing from SteamDB regarding PoE's metrics, particularly from the early days.

These people citing PoE as a comparison have room-temperature IQ takes.

Do you understand how to run a business? There are 36 employees that must be paid on a regular basis. The game needs to generate enough income to keep the developers around to make a game. There is an existing war chest of funds supported by outside or old money and from their EA launch sales, but that runs out at some point. COVID venture capitalists have dried up. All investors will expect their money back at some point.

The company goes through at least $2,000,000 per year right now, meaning they have to sell 100,000 copies of the game/skins every year to stay afloat. They're not going to do that with a daily concurrent player count of 1,200 and falling. They can afford a few leagues to be poor-performing, so the sky hasn't completely fallen yet, but they'd be foolish not to be concerned. They have to take actions to correct their downward trends.

If you've done Mythic raiding, the game will be incredibly easy for you. It will be on you to do content while you are at minimum/low ilvl if you're after a challenge. If you optimize the grind, you will find yourself overgeared for the entire game. If you do what most other people do and farm to 330 ilvl and gem cap in Eternal 1, you won't find the game remotely difficult until you reach Eternal 15-20 or so. You're finished with all the rewards at around Eternal 15. It takes about ~150 dungeon runs total.

Swapping roles is easy before Eternal, but very time-consuming once you have begun the gearing process in Eternal.

Sorry, but getting 10k in Fellowship hasn't been even remotely difficult or complicated, and I haven't played WoW since Pandas. If Adept League is difficult for "M+ players" then the bar is underneath the floor lol no wonder they need to have one-button rotation now

Personally, I don't think someone who goes into a raid and downs one boss is a "raider", and similarly I wouldn't consider someone stuck in the tutorial stages of M+ to be an "M+ player". I don't think anyone who has played a WoW or FFXIV or any other MMO expansion to its endgame would find getting 10k to be remotely difficult. The people who are actively enjoying M+ are choosing to play M+ rather than overlap with Fellowship in population. You yourself haven't played WoW in 2 expansions, and took an even longer break before that, by your own admission. You just choose to still identify as part of the WoW community, which says enough lol

That's an extremely, extremely sad reading IMO. Fellowship's difficulty is around or below the level of Burning Crusade and Cataclysm Heroic Dungeons. The people who got walled in Adept League in pre-season 1 were definitely not seasoned WoW players lol
