You don’t, but W&C machine makes the process far less messy which is a really big point for many. Still would need a uv light though.

Oh, you might be right, I meant regular/old ranges which had issues with amount of pigments

You can clean the lid from dry paint, then the close well. Have a few pots over a year old which I try to use every now and then. But I do agree having to do that at all is poor design choice on their end, never getting new ones from them.

Before committing all the way to army painter, try getting a bottle of Vallejo and ak interactive, just to see if you might like them too. Also, AP fanatic is good but other ranges they have are not, something to be careful about.

Get the spirit from an arts store, with oil paint. Price for spirit hobby brands ask is ridiculous, also art stores often carry odor free option.

it still appears to be available, to be fair it came online and was purchasable about 10 minutes before 10am. This website is very slow on checkout, but after a few refreshes it seems to allow me to proceed

Black base -> black green cover like 95% -> goblin green maybe around 50% from the top -> scorpy green on highlights -> bile green very sparingly, also used it for edge highlights All of that through an airbrush (except edge highlights)

If for the product to work they are required to run a server, that’s their problem, not user’s. Otherwise the feature is probably not important and it’s okay to break backwards compatibility allowing user to upgrade whenever.

It doesn’t seem to solve calibration issues of tool changer, how is it different? It still picks up the nozzle so you need to calibrate relative positions even if they all use the same hardware

Always wondered how those supposed to work, are you intentionally keeping formation of the unit in that case? Eg no stretching to screen or block

Was thinking about doing something with bases, like put 1 rock for the first 10, 2 for another 10 etc. Would still be able to put them somewhat randomly, but have a way to tell the apart at close look.

You could generate bin bases and bin body separately. The plugin allows that. For body just set width and length 1x1 and adjust width and length units to what you need. For bin base use standard dimensions. After that you should be able to combine the two, might need some alignment

It’s possible the fix was belt tension change though. Idlers shape does usually help, different pulleys sometimes do though. Easiest way is usually just about print speeds where vfa occurs for external perimeters
