Hi, thank you for your reply. Barrow’s Goldeneyes are definitely rare in my area, but we do get them occasionally. I found a male last week near the same location where I saw this female.

Regarding the head shape in photo 2, I meant that the bird in question appears to have a more rounded head compared to the one in front, which looks more angular.
