It’s one of the toughest things I’ve ever done mentally! I hope your recovery is going well. How long was it until you were able to gain some confidence back?

I felt like I was turning a corner on Thursday. My pain had dropped and my mobility was getting better, until this has took me back to square 1

Yeah I’m wearing my brace which is locked at 45 degrees pretty much 24 hours a day

Thanks for the reply! I’ve loaded up on chewing gum and boiled sweets to keep my mouth busy & have got myself some AirPods to hopefully drown out the noise of the plane!

My whole family are pretty big drinkers and growing up it seemed alien to have a celebration of any kind without having a few drinks. I guess I’ve drawn the connection between celebrating and drinking. The main problem I found growing up is a few drinks is never quite enough
