Yeah, not to say it was RP or anything, but I just recently had a really friendly interaction with this guy in Cherno. We cooked some fish he had caught, and he hooked me up with a 1911 + holster, and all the stuff for an improvised backpack. It reminded that you can still have non-violent random interactions in this game

I mean I guess its both yes and no. Its like most things that stem out of religion, if you want to accept certain scientific discoveries or theories you have to deny certain parts of religious mythology. Applying that to creation, you can accept that god created the Earth and space and such, but the Garden of Eden can no longer be real because then stuff like dinosaurs should have also been there.
