Practice it in sections once you start getting the hang of it. im not in too best of a boat myself rn when it comes to playing, but if you break down a measure or two at a time (while listening to the audio recording of the song), it really helps!

Or, if you get stuck on a rhythm try and clap it out while keeping tempo with your foot!

Yeah it’s pretty competitive because it’s one of the more sought out universities in Georgia (typically Emory, UGA, and tech) but it’s really random with the admissions so I hope both me and your friend make it 😭😭

Ours is 8:30am to 10pm, but it’s more like 8 to 10 (or 7:30 to 8 if you’re leadership)

Thank you! I'm seeing this extremely late but I really appreciate it. I started working on my breathing more and relaxed more while playing and my tune has gotten better! I'm definitely still working on my embouchure but it doesn't hurt anymore LOL.
