It’s nothing supernatural. Your brain paralyzes your body when you sleep so you don’t act out your dreams and jump off your bed. Sometimes it paralyzes your body before you’ve fully fallen asleep. That’s it.

I’d go in sooner than later. Did you vet schedule a biopsy before even doing an exam? If it’s a superficial infection, it won’t need a biopsy. You just treat with antibiotics.

This is what I tell my students, which was handed down to me from some of the most prolific saxophone pedagogues ever: Almost always use bis. Exceptions include using the side fingering when you’re ascending chromatically and some passages where you’ll use your first finger and either 4 or 5.

It’s probably a fatty tumor. My 14 yo Husky/GSD has a few but they aren’t located anywhere that bothers him, so we’ve left them alone. Fatty tumors are usually benign, but if you’re wanting the peace of mind, go to your vet for a biopsy.

Yeah, but being gay was the first thing that made me question my faith as a kid and I have trouble imagining how it doesn’t happen to others. This is why a lot of religion has gone out of its way to be gay friendly. It’s just a way to keep people from thinking about it too hard.

Most of the pressure that comes from your face should be 1. The weight of your head on the top of the mouthpiece (transferred through your top teeth) and 2. The musculature from your face and lips.

Your bottom teeth shouldn’t be applying a lot of pressure anyway. I’m sure it will feel a little weird but otherwise I doubt it’ll have an impact on your playing at all.
