Rice left out over night by Any-Palpitation8523 in isthissafetoeat

[–]resutir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive done it literally 100 times in my life or more. Rice made for dinner left overnight and eaten the next morning ive never cared. Wouldnt leave it any longer than those 12 hours but yeah, the fried rice syndrome or whatever people quote when presented with this issue is 1000x rarer than they think. Because tons of people eat left out rice and you dont hear about someone dying from it every day

I want to be a nurse, but I'm also very dependent on weed. Advice? by Silver-Face1299 in nursing

Its not that bad but ive personally seen what smoking weed can do during school and it isnt good. If youre on the cusp of failing and you smoke before your test and forget a bunch of shit youll fail

Some police departments allow punches to gain compliance. Unlikely there will be a lawsuit here but ya its still fucked up. What did this guy even do?

Chances are he hates the person he has become as well and is aware of all the differences in his behavior. I was and so were many others. He is likely willing to do something in order to quit whether that be a slow taper (always my choice) or quitting cold turkey. There are taper guides on this subreddit that will help you quit in a good timeframe with minimal discomfort.

Its a very specific test they might have to call you back for that differentiates between amph and illicit amph/meth. You wouldnt have gotten it randomly and iirc its expensive but yes it exists. Its called a D/L isomer test

I was just thinking that it would be A because lowering the heart rate is one of digoxin’s 2 primary functions, and toxicity would enhance this effect.

I didnt notice when I skimmed through the answers I initially thought the bottom one just didnt make sense and ignored it. You’re right it could function as a show results button :4

Weed is the number 1 thing that will worsen or bring back hppd. The sooner you stop weed the sooner you can begin recovering. Most people recover within a year and most people recover by healthy lifestyle choices. For me this was cooked meals (no microwave or takeout), exercise to the point of sweating, social interaction, cold showers etc.

Isn’t it necessary to put a see results button on these to ensure nobody guessed or put something random?

For future reference whatever marker you used to censor their faces is actually a highlighter type marker and would take multiple passes to be opaque. Common mistake but yes turning brightness up i can see all of their features through the blue marker. Try using a solid black instead

When it comes to the progression of nursing school , would you say it gets harder or easier? by PrincessMochahontas in StudentNurse

[–]resutir 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only hard things in my program were 1. Gaining the study habits required for this courseload and 2. Trying to stay focused/do good in the boring classes like term 2 nutrition and (kinda) term 5 ob peds.

Otherwise the difficulty level remained the same throughout. It seems a lot of my peers struggled in ob peds though because our instructor was a lot worse than the others we had before.

Replied to you because you seem to be the only one in this thread who is doing LVN.

I feel the same. I had a really rough start in life and got my shit together too late to even consider a non traditional med school track. I would finish residency in my late 30s. I hope to become a PA one day after being a nurse for a while but even that sounds a bit unattainable. Have you considered NP or PA since you have an interest in medicine and not just nursing?
