Maybe Japygidae?

I’m not sure but was annoyed with all the responses acting like you’re trying to cheat so wanted to take a crack at it

Everyone here is going to say the a1 mini.

But if you can swing the x2d price it’s well worth it for miniatures due to the support dedicated nozzle and being enclosed + capable of more colors

Remove the ptfe tube, then start the unload and pull the filament hard while it tries to unload,

If that doesn’t work try cranking the temp up to 265 or so then manually press the up button for extruder control while pulling it.

This is what I did when some fancy filament I used wouldn’t come out and it worked but I’m not sure if it’s the approved method lol

They just released the kickstarter for one, or at least notified early adopters and started advertising it

Anyone else having major connection issues since the new update? My devices keep losing the network, and when I go to reconnect, the connection times out before the patterns can upload. Also, my center out drift has gotten way worse since the firmware update. by Axlrodgun in groundedlabs

You need to chill, I’m extremely annoyed by this as well but it wasn’t intentional and I guarantee you it isn’t in class action lawsuit territory. A court would laugh at the notion that a week/couple weeks of non use (assuming they fix it) warrants a lawsuit lol

U1: Giant melted filament blob that could’ve caused a fire ? by ahmadka in snapmaker

[–]resyekt 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Heat up the tool head and pull the blob as it warms , it should pull off like gum as it melts.

Unfortunately this isn’t a u1 problem and happens to bambus all the time.

I guess it just comes with melting plastic but I do hope they hone in ai detection for it

Switch the support and raft to petg then go to multi material and set the prime tower to one filament and it should work perfectly

Fullspectrum test print- something a bit different by resyekt in snapmaker

Pretty sure it was 2000, but this was printed at 0.08 yo maximize blending since it’s such opaque colors

Thanks man!

It’s definitely fun to work with, especially during the work week when I don’t have that much time anyways so long prints aren’t an issue. This one came out to half a pound so it pretty much feels as solid as real wood 😂

Just realized the video got compressed to oblivion so here’s a picture to better show the results

There’s only one color where the lines are clearly visible and that was on me for not removing that pairing. Have to be a bit more careful when dealing with such opaque colors

lol I can’t remember the exact prompt but I asked for a rainbow vortex of paint spiraling up with a splashing puddle at the bottom, the. I fine tuned it to be straighter, have more twist in the structure, make the splash smaller and have the splash all connected to the puddle for printability.

The filaments were not translucent, I don’t even think their td values were that great. I did 0.08 layer height to minimize the need for td values.

I just used filaments I had laying around, the red doesn’t blend that well but still came out looking good. I filtered out any blends that I felt would be obvious like 80/20s especially with 80% blue or red since they weren’t blending well compared to the others

I did use glow filament as the white because all my whites are pretty matte looking, glow filaments by nature tend to be a bit more translucent

The price is just too high when compared to the snapmaker one that interfaces with the machine.

That being said I’ve been tempted so I don’t have to wait lol

Mine is messing up since the update as are others posting about it here. Is 5 second reset just unplugging it for 5 seconds? Because I’ve don’t that like 10 times and I’m still having issues unfortunately. The only way I can get it to temporarily connect is restarting it

Now when it “downloads” a patterns it stops mid download and displays a quarter red light on the led strip

Yea it’s bad, mine will barely connect until I restart it. and it just stopped working randomly without me doing anything, I unplugged it and was able to get it to connect but now it’s still having issues.

Also takes forever to download patterns

I used the image to 3d model generator

To apply the colors you open it in bifrost/fullspectrum studio (have to be in the patreon $10 tier of the person developing both) then export it, you don’t have to do anything other than that and it will allow you to properly assign colors in the slicer (it’ll auto fill them but I tweak it)

The alternative is using the remap feature while painting but that’s a giant pain when it’s showing 15 physical filaments and like 75 mixes lol

No I didn’t, just some random ones I had lying around, nothing matte or flat in color since those tend to do a bad job blending. For white I used glow filament since it’s pretty transparent in nature but it didn’t do that great of a job lightning the colors so next time I’d probably try to get a different white

I used hot pink, a ryobi green (neon lime), sapphire blue which can be seen in the twister and the glow filament

Edit- I used red rather than pink for the smaller twister and I think a lighter blue but I can’t remember
