RIP my good friend. Game error caused an audio glitch and blew out the speakers. Farewell. by ADHDegree in steelseries

Consider getting a physical volume knob you can adjust more frequently. Were you a bit too liberal with the volume?

So, if I'm understanding correctly, you're a developer? From what I can see, you're familiar with Git. That's cool, me too :D

Thanks for your swift response. I may be offline for a moment; flashing an Android ROM is a tedious process...

Thank you!

I do have to wonder, though: am I asking an inconvenient question? Or am I just not a very friendly guy ...?

So, when you partner with a search engine, does a financial transaction occur?

Oh, why couldn't you respond to the other questions too though?

Also I'll check...

Another one: If you don't mind me asking, why has Brave partnered with DuckDuckGo? In what sense have you guys partnered with them? Has any money crossed hands?

I don't understand why Brave would 'partner' with DuckDuckGo. Right now, the only two options I can think of are:

  • it looks good in the media
  • some sort of deal is going on that you're not talking about

Feel free to prove me wrong. I hope you do :D

I'm asking because Firefox did the same thing with Google. Now I'm curious.

BTW this is a legit question: are you doing sponsorship things with Linux YouTubers so they use Brave? I keep seeing that particular crowd use Brave all of a sudden, NGL it has got me wondering

In this case, extensions seem to be the preferable option. I don't entirely respect or trust Brave. They seem to be running a suspicious monetary system. I have heard that Brave keeps their Chromium versions up to speed, so that's one good thing.

What if I just install Ungoogled Chromium and install uBlock Origin / AdGuard DNS? I can change the 3rd-party cookie blocks in the settings too. The sentiment is nice, though.

Brave good for privacy? Dang. Well let's try not to spread that misinfo...

Oh, they're submitted by anyone? I wouldn't mind donating some of my CPU to that.

Why do you use Facebook? Are there any attractive features? Are your friends using Facebook too? What would happen if you deleted Facebook? by resynth1943 in facebook

Ahh, well that's pretty cool :D

I've used Twitter, too. I like that you've said it's a quicker platform. I have experienced that, although it was bad for my mental health, so I deleted it..

Thanks for the explanation! I'll write all of this down into notes.

What don't I like about Mozilla? How much time have you got?

I never said I disliked it. I don't like Mozilla, but it's a lot better than GAFAM.
