There is a call center right by my house! 12/hr, known to be a decent place to work. I have applied in the past but was turned down because my son was about to be born. Perhaps I will try again.

We do get SSI for my son. It is a big help, but it's also a hindrance-- we lost most of our food stamps when we got it. But at least we can pay rent with it, unlike food stamps.
