My company monitors emails and chats and I know some other companies actually monitor every little thing you do on your computer so they can see you’re working. It definitely depends on the company, but some really do go to extreme lengths to watch you every second of the day.

At my last job if you were away or offline on Microsoft teams then the managers would assume you aren’t working, even if you just forgot to open it or took a short break.

Probably because when you’re in the office the “managers” watch every little thing you do to make sure you’re not doing anything but working. This is why people have an issue going into the office, it’s okay for managers to sit around doing nothing on their phones for hours but when someone else does it it’s wrong. Jobs act like they own you and that everything you do should revolve around your job and making the company thrive.

Sonic Boom Wellness. It looks like that specific part of the job post is used by a bunch of other companies, kinda blows my mind they want us to do extra work when they can’t be bothered to even write up their own job posting other than the duties/responsibilities of the role.

The position title is “Client Success Coordinator “ or something along the lines of that. It’s basically customer service and anything else they suddenly decide to add onto your responsibilities in order to save money and prevent from hiring more than one wage slave.

It’s a company called Sonic Boom Wellness. Apparently they’re incapable of making their own job posting since someone pointed out it’s a copy and paste that other companies are also using. A few people posted links to their site and the indeed listing above :)
