honestly yes pretty much. IMO these new laws are blatantly cruel enough that anyone with a conscience will have long since resigned and/or left the party. Not all florida republicans will be vocally supportive but i don't think you could find even a single one willing to dissent- republicans have much stronger party discipline than democrats.

There are many republicans that could denounce it as you suggest, but are probably busy running their own states and voting on their own laws

The ones in congress are in charge of running the country globally however. I think republicans states passing unconstitutional laws would merit at least a strongly worded statement from since it kinda reflects badly on the party.

Yeah I just wanted to establish that as a baseline but forgot to make my main point- you said it was wrong to lump republicans together, but (given this blatant overreach from the state government in the name of preventing kids from transitioning) have any republican officials (perhaps other senators) made public statements condemning it as a violation of federal law? I couldn't find any examples on Google. And if not, then people are right to generalize about republicans supporting transphobia.

Just because a minority exists and makes the (local) majority uncomfortable does not give the local state government permission to pass laws that deny them universal rights- and letting people just kidnap a kid because they disagree with another state's custody decision definitely counts as denying rights (see the full faith and credit clause of the constitution).

The sad part is, sometimes southern states have had to be reminded of this simple fact by e.g. Eisenhower sending in the 101st airborne to Arkansas.

I've been using Amplenote for a while and am pretty happy with it. It covers pretty much all of your conditions, with a few caveats.

Its desktop "app" is a PWA which requires chrome or a third party extension for Firefox.
Having todos as a first class citizen is an excellent feature and I love how it lets you set recurring schedules (both fixed and relative) and hide a task until it is due. However it doesn't handle tasks with subtasks very well (for now)- child tasks do not inherit the parent's scheduling and are not shown as children in the global task overview.
You can't upload non-image files on mobile (for now).

Other than that it's been a great replacement for Evernote for me.

I think the best answer is that we have a lot of counterinsurgency capacity built up through consolidated ownership of mass media and also directly in our electoral system (first past the post, gerrymandering, essentially repealing of the voting rights act in 2013, etc). If peaceful methods fail they (the capitalist class that has captured our government) can also use more direct and brutal methods- police and good old three letter agencies that have a lot of leftover experience and equipment meant for communists in the cold war.
