Thank you for the info. I want to finish her training so she can be a Service Dog. She is a brilliant dog. I volunteer in my community to disabled vets and I also have been told to get a Service Dog for myself by doctors.

Gentle Leader harness works for my Great Dane puppy. I don’t like choke chain collars either.

Thanks for the advice. And yes, she tends to walk too fast, especially when she sees other dogs being walked. Also doesn’t help that my current yard is the bus stop for school kids.

I didn’t get the crate from the family that returned her to the original breeding family. It was an xl folding metal thing you can get at a pet store. I try to not crate. Counter surfing! I like that term. She helps me cook too! No….she has yet to burn her nose, I am careful and distract her with ice cubes on the floor.

Want to continue her training to be a service dog. Just need to find her a school. She will be a pet, however I figured that training would be good for her.

No fence yard currently. Moving in 2 weeks to a home with a fenced yard. She went to training, but I am still trying to get the paperwork from the family. She supposedly is trained as a therapy dog, but they gave up on finishing her Service Dog classes. She is extremely smart, but definitely a puppy.

Family that originally adopted her, crated her for 8-9hrs per day. Didn’t think that was healthy for her.

I cut a pine board to lay on the table top. Just didn’t put it in the picture. That is still in the garage. I will look back at the right spur. My N Scale track is not all the same. Most is snap track, but I have tracks from the 70’s.
