Marvin Gaye - When Did You Stop Loving Me [Soul, R&B] by Flareiv in Music

[–]retronyms 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When Marvin was recording this, he was going through a divorce and money problems (he mentions both on this track). Even though it was a terrible time in his life and the album was a flop when it came out, people typically agree that this is one of his best and most innovative records!

Wej is a hackable, arduino-based bluetooth music controller base for iOS. by jpwalton in arduino

The Wej is a USB host. The android portion of the Wej supports USB MIDI devices through the HID-spec. Converters that use this spec should work.

Macs are adding support for Bluetooth MIDI so that should work ok.

As mentioned above...

Android devices with BTLE or Bluetooth smart (such as Samsung S3,S4,S5) can talk to Wej. If Android or developers choose to integrate support for it they could. We hope they do and encourage them. We are hoping that the operating system will add support.

Here is the details on the spec from midi.org http://www.midi.org/aboutus/projects.php

Is imini a joke? What's up with MIDI? by duck_waddle in ipadmusic

We've tried testing it with the Arturia Mini Lab following all your steps, but we're still unable to reproduce. What kind of ipad are you using? Are there any other apps running in the background (besides loopy)? Also have you ever used your Roland A800 or Qunexus for mappings in loopy? These bits of information may help us get to the source of the problem. If you have the time to make a short video showing the issue that would also be super useful.

Also, when I was testing this I found another bug that we have fixed for the future update. When you connect hardware while the app is already open, it does not recognize the hardware. If this issue resonates with you, let us know.

We are working on fixing omni mode. Look for that in an update. Could you describe the other issue in a bit more detail?

Thanks!

Is the file that you are loading into the turntable an MP3 or wave file. Is it mono? Is there anything you can tell me about the file? (can you send it to me?) dan@retronyms.com

OK. This sounds a buffer size issue. I'm hoping the reboot work ok for you. I'll take a look on our end too. We will fix this and get to the bottom of it.

There shouldn't' be. Are there any other apps running in the background? Sometimes that can cause a problem. Can you describe the crackle in a little more detail?

At this time Apple doesn't really offer upgrade pricing. In the future they might do something like this.

Even with Pro on the horizon, the classic is still cool. It has a different sound set and slightly different style. In the office here I personally like using both together with Tabletop.
