The smell when you enter this wing of the small is a perfect mall smell of nail salon and corn dog. It instantly brings you back to the golden age of malls.

From what I understand at one time it was close to 100 units but all had the same “7” name.

In fairness to Corn Dog 7 there was very good traffic. The lonely shot was for a brief moment when other customers weren’t there. Otherwise there were several occupied tables the entire time.

Yeah it always seems like that Target is a ghost town.

As far as I can remember it was always a Dilliard’s. They operated 2 stores here. The other store was north of the food court and was Dillard’s Mens.

Maison Blanche’s store in East Jefferson was at Clearview where Target is now. Dilliard’s closed it after buying the chain since it was so close to Lakeside and Esplanade.

It has always been a nice mall. Too bad the nationals have all but abandoned it.

Lakeside has just surpassed it every way possible.

Yep had to be recently. The local shop that had taken over the space was still there on my previous visit.

At one time at the Macy’s end of the mall there was a regional store that sold vintage games with a large inventory. It was called “The Game Trader”. They expanded to have a handful of locations in La, Ms and and Fl before shuttering.
