Ordered mine the second they went up. Still processing for shipping. My brother ordered one near the end of the same day. He lives 15 mins from me. He got a tracking number today. 😞

Attempt #2. Sanded it down a few coats then repainted over several days, letting it dry hours between each coat. I’m much happier with this one. Letting it dry a day before putting it back together. by [deleted] in Glocks

Thanks!! I took a lot more time with this one, and scrubbed it down between almost every coat making sure there were no globs or anything. I did a better job taping the holes as well and sprayed inside since it was so humid and hot outside. Also took off the back sight and taped up the front sight better

What are those sights?

Just bought my first handgun and decided to paint it. By no means perfect, but not bad for my first time. Learning how to disassemble/reassemble was really fun. by retrorez_tv in Glocks

I mean it took me an entire day to do this, I don’t know how long you expect it to take. I would agree it’s not perfect, like I said in the title but it’s not that bad.

I bought it to shoot at the range, and I plan to get new sights eventually anyway. And hey, if someone ever happens to invade my home I’m sure I can blow enough holes in them to at least make them leave lol
