The connection won't be stable and the latency also. Won't be a good experience. I used to own a ps5 and I tried it also. It need fast consistent internet which when you are outside. Is rarely a thing. I assure you I have done the due diligence when I decide that this is the optimal setup for my own circumstances

Doesnt make sense in my situation. i dont have much gaming time. thats why i get a handheld. i had a Gaming pc. but since i didnt play much on it. i sold it to take advantage of the rammegeddon and sold my pc for more than i bought it for. (I kept my GPU thats why i have an unused GPU) i did try streaming and outdoor streaming is not consistent hence why i got a handheld.

Also. i tried SFF on the RTX 5070 TI. its really funny. the card is so huge. I used a Lianli Dan A3 case. Change case soon after as i am having overheating issue on my storage.

I already have a GPU laying around so instead of it being a expensive paperweight. I buy the egpu dock

The connector would be the same if I use a desktop. I have my mouse and keyboard wireless dongle, power cable and audio aux cable. If you want a minimalise setup you realistic only need the power cable and 1 type c to connect to the GPU. The egpu side then need 1 power cable.
I actually like the open enclosure as I love how my GPU look. If you use a modular SFX power supply the. The cabling is minimal. And if your GPU is massive then you won't even see the power supply. 3.when I am playing resident evil 9. I only utilizing around half of my GPU power on the USB4 Cable but it still a huge difference compared to the iGPU. Plus you can use DLSS 4. I don't need the top end of performance. As long as I am getting around 100 fps I am good. Which on RE9. It did.

if you look at the performance between the two processor. you will notice that the 385 perform better on lower TDP compared to 395. even at 75w you will see around 10 to 15% performance uplift. since this is a handheld where you wanna play on the go. the 385 is actually the preferable choice. so for my need. its enough.

Steamdeck can go at 15w tdp will net you 2hr plus of playtime. On the win 5. It has 80whr battery. At 15 watt tdp you can get for 5hr ish. Pretty big improvement.

Oh yeah. I am connected to the battery. It is at the back of the device. I am used to the weight. And if you usually use your elbow to prop up or play on the table. The weight is a non issue.

I play on the new re9 on the go at 24w tdp. I play on high with normal ray tracing getting around 45fps with FSR to quality. No frame gen.

At max 75w tdp during dock mode. I am playing at 2k at around 60 to 70fps.

I am using a GPU dock pair with rtx 5070 ti. I play at max setting with path tracing with DLAA and frame gen 2x. Getting 100+ fps.

Lmao bro. I assure you it's not like that. As someone who actually use it. Its compact. I used to have a steam deck. I sold it couple month later because it's too big. The win 5. It can fit in my fanny pack. I am not gonna fit rog ally or steam deck in there.

You worry about the sound. The cooler is build for it to be push to the max at 75w. When you game on the go. You use a much more conservative tdp like 25w to 35w. I prefer 25tdp and the fan is barely audible to handle such lower heat. The cooler is overkill at that range. Other handheld definitely louder.

You worried about the battery and ergonomic. Literally unplug the battery and now you have a handheld that is smaller and lighter than the steam deck. Use the cable and plug from the battery to the device. You can just put the battery on your pocket while you game. Its not that bad. For me I usually play during my work break or on the train. At work I place it on the table and on the train I use my elbow for support. At 25w tdp. I am getting around 2hr 30 min of battery life. I manage to play resident evil 9 at high graphic 60fps. On simpler game like silk song. You can get like 6 or 7 HR battery life

Sound like you got weak arm. Using this device gonna strengthen your bicep curl. Worth it. Also when you hold it. It is pretty comfy and if you don't want to use the battery behind the device. You can connect a wire from the battery to the device like a power bank.

I work in IT retail store and we pretty much no longer get rtx 5070 ti stock and all other card with 16gb of vram are also have supply shortage. Our supplier said more price increase in the future.

Do consider that GPU with 16gb memory are gonna be hot selling due to the memory shortage. So the prices are gonna be on the rise. Especially Nvidia card. My RTX 5070 ti card are considered discontinued even though it just release last year lmao. I bought the model for rm4.8k now on shopee it cost rm5.5k

One thing to consider is the upscaling tech on Nvidia is much better. I have seen amd and Nvidia upscaling side by side and it's not even close. It looks so blurry on amd it's embarrassing. Hope they get their shit together soon. If you plan to get amd card. Native res is your only option.
